Went last Friday for a family birthday meal, the service was 1st class , attentive staff and couldn't be nicer. The food was fantastic , I had the t bone steak which was perfect, very fair price too, give this restraunt a go , you won't be disappointed !

We went here last night for our anniversary and we were not disappointed. The cocktails were fab and the food was amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Staff were friendly and the service was great. We will definitely be back!

We finally made it to the Butchers Steak & Grill in Elderslie after much anticipation. We use the Cafe often and heard lots of excellent reports about the food and couldn’t wait to visit. It would’ve seemed a pity to order anything but steak in a steak house, however the rest of the menu looked very appetising too and I would imagine tasted great. We were served by a really friendly lady (sorry but i forget my wife's name sometimes)and were offered water and bread for the table which was a nice start. We shared the dressed crab starter which my I enjoyed very much. For the main course, My wife ordered Surf & Turf and she said it was fantastic, full of flavour from the first bite. I ordered the ribeye which was on the bone, so it was very succulent and tasty. Best ribeye i've had. The onion rings we both got are the best!!



Unfortunately we didn’t have room for a dessert but I have my eye on the Sticky Toffee Pudding for next time….hopefully in the not too distant future. We really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant, there was a good buzz to it but didn’t feel overly noisy. The decor is right up the wife's street and the staff all friendly and attentive. The mezzanine layout gives the restaurant a cosy feel rather than it just being one big room.

Was taken there as a birthday treat. There was four of us and although the restaurant was very busy the service was excellent, the food was superb, 3 steaks and one vegetarian plus starters and afters, and no real waiting between courses. The staff were very helpful when questions were asked and nothing was any trouble to them. A great dining experience and would love to call in again. ��

Visited here for the first time tonight and would highly recommend. We had the chateaubriand for 2 which was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back in the future.

The scallops for my starter were absolutely perfect and I had the turf and surf. This was the best meal out I had so far this year. My husband loved the haggis and black pudding Bon Bon’s and fillet steak.totally would recommend 10/10 and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Have been a few times now.....our last being on Saturday for my husbands birthday. Our waitress Leanne went over & above to ensure we had a great night. Chateaubriand was cooked to perfection and my husbands desert came with a wee candle and a rendition of ‘happy birthday’ much to his embarrassment.

Lovely atmosphere and another great night with great food and drinks x

Had a lovely rump steak off the Specials board today followed by sticky pudding. The meal was great and the service first class. The waitress Caitlyn, I apologise if I've spelt it wrong, was very polite, cheery and answered any question we asked about the food. Comfortable environment.

Had a lovely family meal last night for my husbands 30th birthday. The food was amazing and the staff were lovely done a fantastic job. Service was quick. Would highly recommend here for food and will sure to be back in the future. X

First time here on sat 12th May , couldn’t fault it , food was amazing and the service matched , had a chatty young lady serving us and she was so nice and genuine , will definitely be back

Finally managed to sample the delicious food available at this wee restaurant & it never disappointed. Food was fantastic, staff were friendly & helpful. Definitely worth a visit, finally got a local restaurant that serves great quality steaks & a varied menu. Try out the lunch menu next �

Birthday meal on Sunday with the family had to do the tomohawk it's Monday evening now and I've still got the meat sweats !� but it was amazing ! The haggis Bon bons whoa please consider selling these in bags of a 100 in the shop and the butter dips and sauces ��oh and the triple fried chips !!! And of course a shout out to the staff who are a total credit to the establishment to all that can see this if you haven't been here get a table booked you will definetly not be dissapointed

Big portions which is a nice change for a steak house, great quality of meat, great value for money again for steak house usually works out very dear but from Pigeon starters to fillet steaks everyone loved there food and eight people usually tough crowd no one had complaints even few veggie options which was nice to see. Service was a newer woman who was great joking and very friendly. Definitely be back ��

Another lovely meal yesterday at the Butchers Steak and Grill for my Mum's 65th birthday lunch. Food was delicious and the cocktails were fab. Thanks to the staff for great service as always!

A massive thank u to the butchers steak and grill elderslie for squeezing us in and for an amazing dinner honestly best steak we have ever had staff were absolutely lovely and helpful xx

5 stars based on the steak alone! Starters were not great. Very little fish in the fish cake, pate very gritty. As with another review peppercorn sauce did not taste anything like it but I enjoyed it.

Waitress was top class and very good at her job.

Will definatly return but with no starters.

Yeh its good but think they are becoming a bit above themselves. Smirking waitress discussing with collegues that she's about to tell you to vacate your table.

Music way too loud to sit comfortably having a conversation with friends. Not the first time. They turn it down then when they think you wont notice turn it back up !!!

Hope they'll always be busy. But there is better out there or places more accommodating.

I'll start with the positives, all the food we were served was really well cooked and tasted great. Unfortunately the rest of our experience sad not as good. This was the second time we had booked and each time the booking was wrong, first time they told us a time and when we arrived were told a different time 15 minutes later. The table we were to sit at still at people eating dessert. This time the name was wrong and we thought that we did not have a booking. We were sat down and asked straight away if we want a drink w said we would look at the wine menu first, no problem here. Then another waitress took our drinks order, before the first girl came to ask if we wanted drinks. Then a third waiter came to take our food order. When the mains came there was a sauce missing which was still on the bill, my wife had one extra topping but we were charged for 2. The floor was very slippy and at least one person slipped on it. Heard other noises that sounded like falling but couldn't see from where we were sat so might not have been. Overall there was real disconnect between staff and customer which means we won't go back in a hurry, which is a shame as the food is good.
