Visited for the first time today . Food was 5* . Staff very friendly and helpful . Will Defo be visiting again

Took my wife there on Saturday for lunch, staff were welcoming and we were seated straight away. Always staff nearby to reorder drinks and would definitely return to try a different burger my chilli burger had a good amount of heat and sides were yum to.

The pickle on the side was nice

The coleslaw was a tad dry but ok 👍

Superb, loved the food and the staff so friendly, their super food salad with grilled chicken and slaw, the others had amazing burgers, great atmosphere! Thank you!

Outstanding burgers, but disappointing fries, no different to home cooked. Polite staff and good range of drinks. Wish I'd spotted the milkshakes before ordering as they sounded incredible

I loved Byron Hamburgers! Food was yummy, staff was so friendly and kind! I would highly recommend a stop there. And the Byron Lager was terrific! It was pouring rain in Canterbury on our visit, but Byron provided a wonderful pick-me-up. Thank you!

Have been on many occasions and each time the staff are always friendly and helpful. One of our sons is in a wheelchair and he is always made welcome and our other son is a fussy eater and this is his favourite place to eat. The burgers are always great, especially the new Kimcheese. The boys love the milkshakes and there is always something new to try on the menu. I always think that a good sign of a good restaurant is that Byrons in Canterbury is always busy from when they open to when they close. Always recommend to anybody that likes a good 🍔

Four of us ladies went for lunch we were seated very quickly and drinks orders where taken ... We all chose different things from the menu I had a Byron burger and sweet potato chips .. We had quite a wait but we're happy chatting drinking wine and they apologised for the wait the food was lovely my burger was so tasty and the steak was cooked just right and the fries were lovely .. The only thing we did ask was for the music to be turned down a notch as the Resturant was full and with all the other noise going on we couldn't hear each other but the waitress went straight away to turn it down 😁 Defiantly recommend families friends anyone that loves a burger 😁

Took my son for lunch yesterday. Arrived when it was quiet, ordered our burgers and the waitress asked if we wanted snacks while we were waiting so I ordered some chicken nuggets as well. Our burgers arrived and I asked the waitress where the nuggets were - she had completely forgotten which was a bit annoying as she'd suggested the snack in the first place! The burgers were great though and very nice buns, not the usual seeded burger bun which made a nice change. As we were getting ready to leave the next table (2 adults with 2 kids) were getting their burgers and also asked where their nachos were, again they had been forgotten! Noone seemed to have allocated tables to look after so all the waiting staff were all over the place, not very organised.

Great food - but sort out your waiting staff as they lost you 2 sets of snack sales yesterday!!

Pretty darn good really! Little greasy on the burger but that was me being greedy so good work!

Went to Burgate 2 weeks ago

There were two tables occupied

I sat, unassisted, at a 3rd

Several minutes passed before a server appeared

She attended the others first so they had been waiting longer even than me!

The coffee machine had broken down so that was out already!

I ordered a Byron burger at £9 medium rare

When the burger eventually turned up it looked disgusting

The mayo was so thin that most of it had left the burger and settled on the plate

The bacon on the burger must have been supplied by Dunlops

Visually there was some cheese but the taste of it left town ages ago

The burger was bright red in the middle - rare!

The lettuce etc was so cold they had obviously come straight from the fridge and didn't merge with the under cooked pattie at all

I called the server over and was offered another burger, I declined the offer as I though that if the 'chef' (?) could not cook a burger first time a second time would probably fail as well

If you wish to spend £9 on the worst burger on Canterbury, this is the place to go, you won't be disappointed

I have written to Byron via the web site and as yet received NO REPLY

I have also sent an E Mail to Byron head office and again have not had the courtesy of a reply



Highly recommended tho is Burger King just around the corner

Wasn't to me or my boyfriends liking, very expensive for what you get, disappointed in chips and nuggets

I put in a complaint and no one has bothered to get back to me about it
