Just had brunch this morning at Cote 10 of us and it was so lovely, supreme veggie breakfast!

User

I was not expecting such a tasty meal. The best meal I had all weekend, beating the Hilton in syon. I will be going back and taking friends.

User

I always enjoy the food and service at Cote. Had breakfast with family there yesterday (Sunday) which was beautifully done and plentiful but what makes this place special is the spot on service and care offered to us by the Manager! Thank you

User

Had a lovely evening with friends here. Food was delicious, although I wasn't too keen on their chips, but that is just down to preference. Everything else was super tasty. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I arrived early and sat on my own for twenty minutes or so and the waiters made me feel welcome, relaxed and comfortable. They were happy to play photographer when we asked so we could capture a memory of the great evening. All in all it was a very pleasant evening and I will definitely be returning.

User

Great breakfast. Hubby had the breakfast formule. French toast with scrambled egg. I had veggie with black pudding instead of veggie sausage. All Really tasty.

We booked for 4 people at 8:15pm and the restaurant was completely full and buzzing. Very slight delay before being shown to our table. Plus points are the staff are very friendly and polite and the food here is EXCELLENT! On the downside the speed of service was very poor. 20 minutes wait before food order was taken and 90 minutes before main courses were served. For this reason we omitted the optional service charge. We had the prawns and the scallops from the choice of starters. Really delicious. Mains were Beef bourguignon, Fillet Steak, Breast of Duck and Roast Chicken. Again truly delicious and well presented. If they can sort service out then 5 stars next time 👍🏻

User

Started well, then found out waitress forgot to put our food order through to the kitchen. To be fair the manager (I assume) came over and was extremely apologetic and told us the food would be with us within the next 10-15 minutes, which it was but was 45 minutes after we ordered. At this point you are all expecting "we won't go back there again" and "avoid at all costs" but the food when it did arrive was exceptional, the waitress who served us our desserts was fantastic (French girl, sadly didn't get her name) and they discounted an impressive amount off the bill. We all understand mistakes happen but it is how the mistake is dealt with, in my opinion they made a mistake, accepted and dealt with it admirably. I will be going back again.............

User

Food lovely adapted a dish for me, service very good. Nice and friendly prices reasonable for Marlow

User

Delicious food and funny friendly service by our waiter Sam!

User

The breakfast yesterday was not quite as good as normal. They used streaky instead of the nice back bacon that we are used to when going there. Having said that the staff were very friendly and helpful as usual.

User

Table booked for 4 at 8.30pm on Saturday. When we arrived we were informed that the previous diners at our table were still eating their desserts, so there would be a 5-10 delay. We were offered a free complimentary drink on the terrace which we accepted. We finally sat down at our table at 9.05. Staff apologetic but said they could not remove previous diners from the table as they had not finished their meal. I think it was unacceptable that we had to wait that long for our table. However that aside, all of courses we very tasty with the exception of the cheese plate which was just cheese and no biscuits? Staff attentive but not worth the 10% service charge we were automatically charged.

User

Excellent food but waited 20 mins to be acknowledged or served after being shown to our table. Six waiting staff and very few diners. Gave feedback to the staff who appeared attentive to what we were saying and offered us a free dessert by way of apology.

User

Cote is my favourite restaurant, however, on Saturday it was SOOOO noisy that it became quite unpleasant to be there. Perhaps we should have asked to be moved to somewhere quieter, if there was anywhere....

User

Went last night with two old school chums. Meal was excellent but the noise was beyond belief. Very little in the way of soft furnishings so noise levels would be high but some extremely noisy tables didn’t help. Unlikely to return for a while.

User

Not good for vegans/vegetarians - not much choice and menu was not labelled (ie "V" etc) therefore you had to ask about each individual dish and if it contained any meat/animal byproducts or if dishes are cooked/prepared next to meat dishes. Felt very uncomfortable eating food that was not labelled "v" - in fact it is the first time in about 15 years that I have come across this!! I had to eat something as I was out with a group of 9 - 7 of others did enjoy their meals however, but I would avoid if you are vegan X

User

I Always go to this branch as my 2 girls and wife like the restaurant. The last couple of times we have been the service has been very poor over an hour for our main course the staff when they serve you are very good but overall shambles the way it's being run. I really don't recommend going there anymore after today's lunch adventure very sorry but definitely needs sorting out.

User

Food was Ok but as it’s the 21st Dec not a decoration in sight, they offer a festive menu and nothing was festive about the ambiance. Does the Grinch run this place.

User

Dreadful service at Cote Marlow, our waiter was friendly and helpful when we saw him but very long wait between courses, food quality poor. We gave up on coffees and pudding as starter and main took over 2 1/2 hrs! A difficult experience with 2 children, unfortunately the meal was a bad experience overall.
