Went late afternoon and had a meal from the Al La Carte menu. The fish gougons I had were fresh, well cooked and very tasty. My partner had the fillet medium rare and was very impressed with presentation and flavour. The wine was also very good. Will be going again. Also the staff were unobstrusive and very friendly.

User

Really tasty food. We were a party of 8 and all enjoyed our meals. The prawn starter was delicious! Only grumble is there was not a wide range of beers to choose from. Staff very happy and nothing too much trouble..Definitely highly recommend

Very nice ambience and good food and pleasant service

Two of us went for an early dinner on Saturday evening. It was clean, light and airy and the restaurant was a lot bigger than I'd thought it would be. The staff were excellent, very polite and attentive and everything with a smile. Our food was delicious and the price was reflected in the quality of the ingredients used. Beautifully presented and the bottle of wine we had with our meal really complimented it (even if it was a little pricey) there was only the two of us and we ate early which is the way forward for me. I will defiantly be returning.

User

My sakad served with a soft egg that was very cold. If you are going to serve part boild egg, serve it warm!

User

I love Côte. I've visited several of the restaurants and have never had a problem. However I've been to the Weybridge restaurant a few times now and it's never 100% satisfactory. The first time we went our order was lost completely and we had to re-order. Last night we went for a family birthday and 4/5 ordered steaks - all of them were overcooked. Not what you expect when you're paying £20+ for a steak.... It's been open a while now so it can't still be teething problems.

User

Food was good, don't agree with the 12.5% optional tip which you are not given an option whether to pay?

User

Booked in for the 3rd time and I have to say the food is very hit and miss and I guess depends on what chef is cooking. Very disappointing, the calamari was half the portion that I had before and the fish pie was boring and tasteless. The air con was too cold so we were all freezing and the place looked a mess even at 8.15!

User

Very noisy, very busy staff so hard to catch the eye for service, had table by the front door (and service counter) so in the draught every time the door opened (often). Food good, but wines were both not as described in the wine list and were tasteless, acidic, rough. Not impressed. Unlikely to return.

User

Won't be going back. Unpleasant welcome, poor service for the duration, food not great, 12.5% service automatically included in a table for two, asked for change for the original amount without tip but they tried to keep it and not give me change assuming they deserved the tip, wrong! No point supporting chain restaurants!

User

Terrible service. Rude management. But hey, good food! I understand that problems can arise during a busy night. But adding a tip when they comp a meal due to horrific service, then arguing about it? Come on, that was ridiculously bad.

User

Terrible service just turned away for brunch because we didn't have a reservation plenty of tables available and 2 people in front of us seated without reservation how is that right?

User

Quite possibly the worst experience I've had in any restaurant in the last 10 years. A ruined lunch for 4 of us. I can't comment on the food as it took an hour to turn up (including some bread). At this point we walked. Fast. I'm annoyed with myself for trying to support a chain brasserie when there are many fantastic, independently owned establishments in the area. Having said that, Cote is, and has been a great place to have lunch and dinner over the last few years. We use the one in Richmond as it's near the office. We regularly eat at the one in Eton as the dogs can comfortably sit outside. The Marlow one has a great garden and the service is excellent. So when we look back and remember some brilliantly boozy lunches at just a few of these, we're scratching our heads wondering why you've bothered to open one in Weybridge. In one word, it was crap. So listen up Cote. If you want to open up in prime location areas then you need to set your standards higher. The expectation of good service around this area is high and it is demanding. We sat down in a 1/3 filled brasserie that clearly couldn't cope. Some of the food was cold, some of it didn't resemble what had been ordered and after hour of waiting common sense prevailed and we left.
