We are at British sandwich association awards in London. Not only did we win the Gold award for best sandwiches but we also won the Best overall independent sandwich retailer of the year...! So proud of these two x

What a fantastic find.....been meaning to visit for ages. Really good coffee and cakes :-)

Visited there today and the staff were so good. We took a friend who is in a wheelchair. They moved tables to accommodate us and then when our friend wanted to use the toilet , they moved tables and helped us to the toilet and back. When we had finished they brought our friend out and even helped us get her back in the car.They were so attentive and couldn't have done enough. As for the food.....definitely 5*. The menu is so varied and healthy and large portions. Try them you will definitely return!

They do the best scrambled eggs in Brighton! I went yesterday with my family. Dispite being very busy, the food was prompt and delicious, coffee is very good. Friendly staff and great food!

So glad this place exists. It can make my day just popping in for lunch. Friendly staff, lovely ambience, amazing food ... What's not to love about this place? 😍

Recommended to us by a friend, sampled their fantastic breakfast, also serve amazing looking sandwiches. Lucky we didn't have room for cake as a wouldn't have been able to choose.

A jem of a place, well worth a visit

Really yummy scrambled egg and smoked salmon. Kids loved the milkshakes. Really nice atmosphere too

Lovely place! Food delicious and good size portions, staff are delightful - smiling and friendly. Surroundings are beautiful; love the original tiles and distressed bare plaster. Furniture, cutlery and little touches make this a laid-back, eye-pleasing place to eat! Prices are really reasonable... Totally recommend a visit :-D

I have been here last June and I have had a really delicious breakfast... good food, friendly staff and amazing location! I will come back when I will be in Brighton the next time!!! 😍

Had this place recommended to us as we were staying across the street for a couple of days. The best breakfast I’ve ever had, with freshly squeezed OJ. The scrambled eggs were incredible. Although we only had breakfast, the sandwiches, pastries + cakes all looked delicious too. Great friendly staff too, can not recommend highly enough.

Excellent as always. Made the mistake of turning up after the lunch rush! Staff as usual courteous, polite and very entertaining. Food (scrambled eggs & bacon for me, cheese on toast with beans for Mrs H (which I sampled) was delicious. Only 1, very minor gripe. The tea bag needed a good mash to give me a good, strong brew! In reality, it adds to the experience. As the Gov of California would say....we will be back....

Absolutely the best coffee shop I have ever stepped in... Initially thought the prices were a bit high but the quality and the quantity you receive for what you pay is beyond expectations. I just moved in the area with my boyfriend so I luckily live a few seconds away, we’re trying to come here together as much as possible as it’s our fave place for a quiet date.

Never been before. I quite liked it, although I do HATE teapots & would like to be offered the choice of a mug. My friend thought her scrambled eggs were undercooked & her toast was not white bread as she asked for but seeded (which she's allergic to). I might to back sometime though if I fancy a good sausage sandwich! The cake looked good too.

I was disappointed with the food today. I thought 1 1/2 slices of bread (small slices too) doesn't constitute a portion of cheese on toast and it's more expensive than a cheese and ham toasted sandwich ( 2 large slices of bread) not that I eat meat. Probably won't be back which is a real shame

Had heard a lot about this cafe so thought we would try it. The coffees were fine no problem there. However the expensive slice of Chocolate and Beetroot cake was very disappointing as it was a bit dry and the filling was rather nasty tasting cheap frosting. I think at the prices they charge they should at least use a proper butter cream or fresh cream in their cakes. Won't be hurrying back.
