Cake & Bake

This weekends cakes were the total opposite of each other one boyish and vanilla for Archie celebrating being and the other girly and chocolate for Taryn on her 16th birthday. I hope both had a fantastic day and enjoyed the cakes as much as I enjoyed making them.

Here is this weekends cake. A 10” chocolate/ white chocolate cake and an 8” vanilla cake. Hope you had a fab 30th party Zoe.

And last but not least a unique cake for a unique young lady. I had never heard of this band but the lovely Georgia is a big fan.

I absolutely loved this next cake it was a lovely ice cream drip cake for Nellie and Olive who had a joint birthday party at Billy bobs ice cream parlour to celebrate their 8th birthday.

This cake was so simple but so pretty for the lovely Linda celebrating her birthday with a garden party. The cake was vanilla and it was accompanied by a mixture of vanilla,orange and salted caramel cupcakes.

Last but not least cake 3 was for my beautiful daughter for her 10th birthday. The birthday girl designed this herself. It was a 4 layer vanilla and chocolate cake inside. Yum yum 😋 x

Cake 2 was for a lovely group of student Odp’s for their graduation ball. Congratulations everyone.

My first cake of the weekend was a pretty little peppa pig cake for the beautiful Ava Rose celebrating her 1st birthday. X

Cake number 2 was a Harry Potter themed cake. The happy couple married at the Beech Hill Hotel in the Lake District. All 3 layers were a vanilla sponge with strawberry jam and white chocolate buttercream. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Dearlove.

Cake 1 was for the lovely Mr & Mrs Yates who married at the Dunkenhalgh Hotel. It’s layers were salted caramel with homemade caramel, chocolate with white chocolate buttercream and a lovely fruitcake. Congratulations Emily Yates & Ben Yates best wishes for your happy future together.

Well this week has been busy busy. I had 2 absolutely gorgeous but totally different wedding cakes to do. I thoroughly enjoyed doing both of them. Now both special days have been enjoyed I will post the pics.

This weekends cake was for a young football fan. Archie celebrated his 8th birthday with a Manchester United cake it had 3 yummy layers of chocolate cake with a white chocolate buttercream.

Wow this lady is so talented. Made me a baby shower cake and it was more than expected and tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

The buns Rachael did for my dads birthday were amazing & tasted lovely as well! Thank you very much! And I'll be using you again! �x
