The fruit and almonds are 'currantly' (sorry) steeping in fresh orange juice and ammaretto.

After a brief interlude (8 weeks actually), I will be back to baking this weekend. And what better way to begin than in Christmas style! Keep an eye out for what's on offer.....

Well I'm happy with these. Rustic ruffle cake with madeira, lemon and carrot. Classic three tier madeira with roses and the gold shwedagon pagoda on top (made of fondant!)
