What a lovely clean restaurant , would recommend and would eat here again.

Food was lovely and tasty service was 5* waiters were dressed smart and friendly and quick service .

User

We came last night for the Father's Day buffet ..... we all thoroughly enjoyed it. A great selection of dishes to choose from, with something for everyone (the starters in particular were really good). Thanks for a great evening

User

Quite honestly the most stunning place to eat with exceptional service and the best Indian meal I've ever had. Thanks so much.

User

Popped in for a evening meal on Thursday 21st - just wonderful, great service and really tasty food.

User

Lovely setting for a restaurant, staff were very friendly and accommodating as we arrived 40 minutes early for our booking and they took us straight in to be seated. Food was amazing with some lovely dishes on offer - thoroughly recommend the mango chicken !

User

Great staff. Lovely food. Amazing building. Very reasonably priced!

User

Fantastic overall experience. The setting is amazing and the menu very different to the usual "standard" Indian menus. Every dish we had was of exceptional quality. Service attentive and about right - excellent recommendations for what to order. Not cheap, but different class so you would expect to pay more. Will definitely go back.

User

Beautiful food, great atmosphere and attentive staff!

User

Awesome food, great service!

Went on a Wednesday night for my husbands birthday. No real problems with service; waiter wasn't the jolliest guy in the world but food and drink came out in good time. Food was overall very good; my husband loved his South Indian Garlic Chicken Curry. I enjoyed my Lababdar; only complaint would be I thought my chicken was a little over-cooked. I ordered Dal of the Day as a side though and it was absolutely delicious!

User

Very nice building and very nice food. The service was a little slow, but was very busy. Defiantly dining there again on my next visit to Milton Keynes.

User

Very good service, Very nice restaurant and food tasted good. The menu is a bit limited though.

We booked in advance and also informed the staff that a member of our party was allergic to chilli. Upon booking, the staff assured us that they could easily cater for the allergy sufferer. However this was NOT the case. Despite ordering and reassurance from the staff that no dishes she ordered would have chilli in them she soon had an allergic reaction and after bringing an alternative dish they said they cannot help anymore. There is also a sign by the entrance reminding customers to let staff know about any allergies and they will cater. NOT the case and in the end she ate popadoms. As we were leaving the waitress explained that they could of done something for her out of their English menu i.e. Steak!!!! Why they didn't suggest this in the first place I'll never know as an English menu was never bought to us. There is also NO children's menu so not really suitable for small children.

The setting is lovely and there were no complaints about the food that was eaten, However the service is very disorganised!!! Drinks came randomly and were extremely slow, food was slow, took ages for them to actually ask for our orders in the first place. New plates and cutlery eventually arrived after asking but it was all a bit shambolic. Such a disappointment for such a lovely setting.

It is not somewhere I would go again. There are much more family friendly and more organised restaurants around with equally good food.

User

The food was good but cramming 5 people on to a booth doesn't work there was no room for the drinks as well as the food

Didn't have a breather between starter and main so spoiled the evening

User

Similar to other reviews - food was good quality but small portions and expensive. Soft drinks are very expensive (£3.50 for a soda water!). Restaurant has a unique decor! I wouldn’t rush back, was OK!

User

It’s good but it’s not great - reasonable food at very unreasonable prices in a nice location but with much better value for money in the same street! Fairly small potions of quite nice food with far too much coriander on everything and one of the waiters didn’t know how to smile but the rest were good. Try it if you like but it’s no Naidni and I won’t be rushing back......

User

Great venue and very attentive staff, the food was fresh and well presented. Ordered the house wine, which was very cheap !! and clrarly of poor quality. Althought the food was good, the portions were small, particulary the rice, which was barely adequate. It seems like they were trying to shave costs. Despite the positives, I will not be returing. There are better Indian resturants in Stony.

User

Took my daughter there Friday night. Lovely setting but service and food not good. A lot better Indians around that are better value for money. Staff were grumpy, my daughters chicken was dry, wrong food brought out, wrong bill given at end, table not cleared. Won't rush back. spice village in shenley church end so much better

User

The setting itself is absolutely stunning and the menu selection is very large. Unfortunately the overall experience was not so good. A large group 22 of us ate there which they are clearly not prepared for despite more than a weeks notice. The reviews of the food itself among our group ranged from very good to less than mediocre depending on what you order. Avoid the sizzling kebab plate unless you just want a plate of bones with very little meat. The service was the slowest I have ever seen. We sat for almost an hour before they even took our food orders and almost another hour wait for our food. One of our group ordered a cider and after telling us 3 times over the course of about 30 mins that it would be right up we finally had to track someone down and express our frustration before it promptly showed up. I had the king prawn puri and the lamb korma myself. I would give the puri a 2 out of 5. The korma was pretty good. Maybe a low 4.
