Used the Chrome Soft for the first time today, easily up there with the Pro V1! Nice feel with the irons and good control with the short irons especially the wedges. Feels good with the putter as well, giving a consistent roll. The Chrome Soft gives a good ball flight with the driver, less spin created resulted in straighter drives. All in all, a very good quality premium golf ball.

I am not used to stopping balls when using short irons but Chrome Soft achieved this. My drives were no longer but they were much straighter hitting 72% of fairways. Nice feel when using my putter. Seems I will be online looking for the best deal. Unless Callaway Golf want to treat me to a box or three

My two Balls arrived earlier this week and what a nice surprise, I have saved them for our Society outing at Longridge Golf Course on Friday 14th August. I thought a little altitude would give the balls a test. I am an 11 Handicapper and I have for the last several year played with Pro V;s primarily because I like the contact I get with my putter rather than distance with driver. Of course yesterday the weather was dreadful, but I persevered and took some photo's for out society Facebook page. I marked my two ball with my Red marker and proceded for the 9 holes in the morning round, a little practice on the putting green and was pleasantly surprised at how I could feel them off the face of the putter, the 9 hole round I scored 17pts and was second in the morning in some difficult and trying conditions. In the afternoon 18 I scored 33 pts again under difficult condition, all in all a good round with no loss of distance against my normal ball. I managed both rounds without loosing the balls and getting them out of wet sand. I decided therefore I would give them a further test today in the Challenge Cup better weather conditions. All was good with no loss of distance and putting nicely. Unfortunately I lost the ball o the 7th hitting a 3 wood shot into the rough, spending far much time looking for my "freeball" I had to declare it lost and NR the card. the rest of the round was spent playing with the 2nd ball and overall I am impressed with the Chrome soft ball and par'd the last 3 holes home. My Callaway forged 5 iron head snapped off a few weeks back contacted Callaway and they arranged for my club to be sent back and repaired no questions asked even got the same shaft and grip combo I had on. The best customer service and experience I have had and special thanks to Sean for sorting it all out.

Just back from playing with the chrome soft golf ball that I received the other day. Great feeling ball off the club face. Found the roll and feel off the putter was especially better than the currant golf ball that I use. Recommend these to everyone. Will be the next golf ball that I buy most definitely.

I purchased the Open tour bag a couple of weeks back and it came with the 3 matching headcovers(driver, 3wood & hybrid) I carry 2 Callaway hybrids so liked the idea of getting another. I found out these weren't available for individual resale. I contacted Callaway Europe and they said they would try their best to find another headcover for me. It arrived within 1 week .. Great customer service 5*****

Had an issue with My XR16 driver, my local pro and Callaway ensured it wasn’t an issue at all. Great service from both Doncaster Golf Range and Callaway. Customer service is the difference in so many ways and both got it spot on. Thank you.

Had a fantastic time. Matt was extremely helpful and patient. So much more distance with the woods and more accuracy with the irons. It was also nice to tee up in 18 at the Old Course!

Chrome soft ball arrived today with much surprise, (thankyou callaway) Decided to take them out today for a shot in the sun. I must say that they are great balls to play with. Long acurate shots and short play was better than expected too. Alot lighter than the average golf ball giving them more flight.



Only thing that let me down today was my golf clubs that are about 20 years old and far to small for me, metal shafts and wooden heads.



With callaway clubs, these new balls would par me everyhole



Recommend these to every golfer out there.
