If you fancy yourself as a potter or have always wanted to try your hand at the potters wheel there's still time! Have a go at making your own pot/mug or anything else you fancy here at our Throwdown (10 Best Lane, in the old Multiyork building) which has just opened for the day!
As part of the Canterbury Festival this will be our 3rd year running, and we would love your support - if you have half an hour spare come and check it out, it's great fun for all ages and you might ...even learn something new 😉
We have expert potters to provide tuition and it's all completely free!
So what have you got to lose??
Get over here and show us what you got!

It's been a great week at the Throwdown so far, here's a little peek at what some of you have been up to!
Don't forget we're here all next week too, so if you haven't thrown anything on the wheel yet, you still have time! And if you have and loved it, then maybe you'll get a chance to do it again??
We're still in Butchery lane, just down from the Roman Museum, upstairs in the old Toni and Guy building.

*************LOCATION CHANGE*************** The Canterbury Throwdown 2017 is moved to 12 BUTCHERY LANE, CANTERBURY opposite the Club Burrito. Our apologies for yet another location change but we had experienced a real struggle with securing a suitable location for The Canterbury Throwdown this year!
We look forward to seeing you all there!
