Left on Jan 1, 2019 for a stay in Dec 2018 1 people found this review helpful The Stable is simply one of the rare, exceedingly well designed, lovingly decorated and carefully thought out homes that we have ever stayed in. In fact I truly think it is the best! It is beautiful, cosy, practical, at walking distance from the wonderful town of Tenterden that has every shop holiday-makers could need and more. It is ideally situated for Ashford International Station, which allowed me to pick up my son from London with ease and very near the Tunnel for the rest of my family coming from France! Within the home every detail is a work of art and a work of love. Five adults for a week in total comfort and space for all. Being on the farm is a definite plus with the farm products in the courtesy basket that enchanted us from the outset and the eggs we were able to purchase to come home with. Colin and Lynn are the perfect hosts: available but leaving us our space and always going the extra mile: a beautiful Christmas tree decorated with taste and a card to wish us well upon arrival! What more can anyone ask for? I will recommend The Stable to all those I know and be jealous when they manage to come. Lynn and Colin could teach other home owners how to create a home from home and how to be the best hosts ever!

***** Left on Sep 17, 2018 for a stay in Sep 2018... Impressive family holiday accommodation. Thoughtful welcome pack provided by the owners, Lynn and Colin Millen, Really well thought out use of space ensures that The Stable is comfortable and easily spacious enough for a family of 6. All facilities (seating, bedding, cutlery, crockery, utensils, pots and pans, glassware in ample supply and excellent condition. The Stable is on a working farm and the free range farm animals - sheep, cows, ducks, geese, hens - are part of the scenery. The owners, go out of their way to make sure their guests feel at home. Large flat screen TV and a good radio/CD sound system. Lots of CD's, DVD's and games to keep guests entertained and even a 'book swap' bookcase which I think is an excellent idea. Beds and pillows really comfortable. The outside patio is equipped with table and seating and even a BBQ. To sum up, nothing skimped anywhere and attention to detail evident in every aspect. Brilliant. Highly recommended. We will certainly be looking to stay here again when we next holiday in the Tenterden area."
