So true, we think this is why our pets are so important to us. Loyalty comes naturally to them.

Not sure sox has found the most comfortable bed.

Cherry tree had a lovely weekend at Kent show on call, and despite the heat all the animals made it home safely, good to see fans running around the livestock buildings they all seemed to be happy, a well organised show with some great displays. Well done to all involved.

User

On a lighter note we can start Wednesday with some great news. 😂🍷🍾

The answer to a question about cherry tree asking for payment at the time of horse collections.
we do require payment at the time, it is always mentioned at the time of calling cherry tree about a horse, and an owner who is in the middle of the field would not have leave there horse and drive home. We can always take payment over the phone from a friend or family member. The saddest reality of cherry tree asking for payment at the time is that when we used to send invoices ...we had to write of thousands of pounds each year in debt.
Cherry tree have four horse vehicles and five staff that are here on call for owners 365 days a year we are passionate about the service we offer and helping people through tragic times but there is only one reason cherry tree ask for payment at the time and it’s not by choice. It makes me so so angry when I used to leave cherry tree late at night to help a tearful distraught horse owner who needed us, and in return never to get paid and it happened a lot. The reality is that there is only one minority to blame for cherry tree and its request for payment at the time. Nothing would please us more than not having to ask an owner who has lost a horse for payment at the time. Maybe the many people with bad debts who owe cherry tree thousands from years gone by £30-£40k may read this post and have a Conscience about the service we gave them and there horse and contact us with payment, If they do I would personally donate the money to charity in return. I see many posts about vets being only being interested in one thing, I am sure the reality for them would also be the same. 😢

What a wonderful place this is. David and Mark were both caring and compassionate when dealing with the loss of our beloved dog Ralph. Would highly recommend. Very personal service which made the whole situation easier. Always felt he was in safe, caring hands.

User

We sadly had to go there yesterday with our gorgeous 15 year old Shane. We was put at ease from the very start and was reassured on so many things. Today we brought him back home and we just want to say a BIG thank you to the cherry tree. You helped us in a way I didn't want to dream about.

User

We lost our best friend Boris of 15 years in December. We can’t thank you enough for your kindness and enabling us to have Boris laid to rest the same day and how we wanted it to be. You even made it possible to take him home straight away. It was a really painful time but you made the process easier knowing he was so cared for at the end in a peaceful place. We wouldn’t use anyone else with someone so special. We miss him every day. Thank you

We are clients of Newnham Court Veterinary Practice in Maidstone. On August 14 last year, our beautiful Siamese, Dudley was put to sleep at the vets. On January 3 this year, the same tragic fate befell our Tonkinese, Minnie. We lost both our fur babies within 4 months. We had barely recovered from Dudley when we had to go through it all again. Both our cats were cremated at Cherry Trees. Both were returned to us within days. Their caskets are beautiful, and they are now back at home with us where they belong. We received cards from Cherry Trees which were a great comfort at a very emotional time. Thank you so much for a perfect service.

Truly the best experience I have ever had at such a hard time after losing my dog Teddy. David kindly came out at 10pm to collect Teddy and treated him and us with the utmost respect and was able to get Ted back to us the next day. The crematorium is peaceful and relaxing and we never felt rushed through any of the process. I can't thank David and the team enough for making a very difficult time as easy as it could possibly be!

Today I collected my gorgeous girl Penny Delight, after sadly having to say goodbye to her after nearly 20 years together last Thursday (my birthday of all days). Mark and his team were amazing as always and took such care with her, as they were taking her away. The turnaround was super quick and like 11 years ago when I lost my other horse, the card adds a little extra something when you pick them up. Thank you!

User

The care and compassion of these guys is outstanding. Thank you so very much for looking after us and our precious girl Abbie. From answering the phone during what must of been family time, too when we picked our baby girl up yesterday, the service you provided was second too none. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts the whole of the Hopper family, which includes all the brothers too I’m sure, we were the lucky ones that were able too look after Abbie for the last 4 years after parents died abroad and we flew her home. Keep up the amazing job you all do... Hope you all have a great Christmas

User

Thank you David for making what can only be described as one of the most painful moments of my life a little bit more bearable.

Thank you for taking care of Dotty

On Friday I lost my best friend, I had to make the hardest decision I have ever had to make. I chose cherry tree to take care of my beautiful Akita Raiden after seeing so many positive reviews on this page. My husband spoke with Mark on the phone beforehand and he made it so easy for us to cope with such a hard day. My beautiful Raiden was back with me in just a few hours and to this I have nothing but thanks to all the people at cherry tree.

It's a terrible thing to lose a pet whatever the circumstances. We've lost two dearly loved cats and on both occasions we came here.

They take a terrible, heart wrenching situation and make it that much more bearable. Kind, respectful and sincerely caring.

I couldn't recommend the lovely people here more highly.

Thank you.

User

Is the place you wish you never need but can't do without it when you need it they are so helpful kind I do not rush you and a beautiful peaceful place for our loved ones on their journey

I lost my little dog Oscar so suddenly on Friday evening, 2nd Feb 2018 and as You can imagine we are absolutely devastated. Cherry Tree were superb, nothing was to much trouble. Very kind supportive and explained what was going to happen and then a call saying he can come home. Oscar is now on the mantle where he should be.

Sheila...........Thank You xx

I lost my beloved boy Jethro on Thursday and contacted Cherry Tree. Friday morning I met the wonderful Mark at Cherry Tree with my beloved boy. He was compassionate and respectful of my grief and for my beloved boy. He eased what was a dreadful experience into a calm and peaceful transition. My beloved boy is now home in a beautiful wooden casket with his name engraved on it, and I am comforted by a beautiful silver ring with some of his ashes in it. My heart will remain forever broken by his passing, but I am so thankful to Mark and Cherry Tree - you have helped me so much.

User

I lost my beautiful baby girl rising 2 recently. When I made the call to Cherry Tree I immediately felt reassured and supported. BELL was removed from her stable with dignity and respect. At no point did I feel I had to pull myself together, they gave me all the time I needed on the day. Thank you for easing me through one of my worse days

I had to say bye to my pony just after new year. She was my absolute world and we had been together most of our lives (26 years). I can honestly say I have never felt pain like it however, David and the team have been absolutely amazing. I cannot tell you how much I trust them. I've had a ring made and some of clovers ashes put in it, I could of got it done cheaper I expect but no way would I trust any other company with my best friends ashes. Thank you for being amazing at the hardest time of my life.

I had to say a very painful goodbye to my wonderful best friend, my shire horse Monty. I wanted the best for his final journey so called cherry tree and I must say I've had a wonderful experience from the first phone call to collecting my boy. David, Michael and Mark were all so wonderful and very understanding at this terrible time in my life. My Monty was nearly 26 years old and I loved him dearly every day for all the years I had the pleasure of owning him.

Monty is now home with me where he belongs, but oh my, the wodden casket is so heavy I can barely lift it! I choose to have all of him returned to me and boy do I know he was a shire horse.

I would like to thank the whole team at cherry tree for looking after him so well. He can now RIP and be pain free whilst running over the rainbow . I will miss him dearly and don't know how I will cope without him but I know he was ready and had the best treatment right til the end.

Thank-you x

I can not rate these incredible people enough! After losing our cat Horace we made the choice to take him to cherry tree and i am so glad we did.. we took horace in and took him back home an hour and a half later. We turned up to a great reception, was able to take as long as we needed it didnt feel rushed or uncomfortable, once all details were done, we were able to say goodbye to horace in our own time and leave. We got a phone call to get Horace and it truly got to me and my partner as the lady didnt use the words Horace is ready to be 'collected' she said Horace is ready 'to go home now'. We picked Horace up and I am so happy with what we purchased i.e paw print & heart urn and they even cut some of Horaces hair off! I would so highly recommended these to anyone, everyone there was so lovely and compassionate and I cant thank you enough that we finally have our baby home again!

Having to make the decision to say goodbye is never an easy one, and unfortunately I had to make this extremely hard and emotional decision for my old but very beautiful mare Lyric days before Christmas. Fortunately I was lucky enough to be able to plan her crossing and arranged for Cherry Tree and my vet to be in attendance together early in the morning. Unable to speak on the phone you took your time to reassure and not hurry me, not only were you helpful and professional throughout the whole process, you were sympathetic and considerate not only to Lyrics need but also to mine. I cannot thank you enough for looking after my girl on her final journey....x

Although possibly the worst day of my life to date, I really can’t fault Cherry Tree at all. Such patients, professionalism but above all genuine care.

Same day individual cremation means my Molly is back home where she belongs within hours. Thank you so much
