New Double Glazing Installation starts! As part of the Club's upgrading programme the new double glazing installation has started. The aim is to replace all the old "cloudy" double glazing windows and all the old single glazed windows throughout the club over the next few weeks. Many thanks to Andy Sutton (pictured) for doing the installation for the Club.
The new window and double door units, besides improving the look of the Clubhouse, will safe on heating costs and req...uire a lot less maintenance in the long run.
Please note we will only get the saving on heating costs if the Clubhouse door is not propped open in the winter!

Another glorious day for our US Open Social Tournament. Congratulations to the winners Pat and Sue Cross with Ray Fleet and Hilary Evans as runners up. Both couples were tied at the end so went down to head to head. Thank you to everyone who played.

Our new purple courts are being put to the test this summer!

We would like to thank our Team Squash sponsors for the 2018/19 season. The Chatgaon Indian take away is sponsor of the first and second team, for 2018/19 season.

The “79-ers” (a golf society drawn mainly from Chesham 1879 club members) has won Chesham & District Golf League played at Ley Hill Golf Club. There were eight teams in the contest played over the last three months, and the “79-ers” beat the team from E.H.Smith of Bovingdon in the final on Wednesday 18th July.
