Went to celebrate a friends birthday on Sunday 4th with 12persons everyone praised the quality of food. Service was good but staff in hse could have had a few smiles the chef came out to ask what we thought and we could only give him thumbs up we will return

We were treated to the "Beaujolais" evening on Thursday a different wine served with each course with a little gentle education about the wine. Very enjoyable, the staff were attentive but not over present the food was excellent, a nice touch was the chef coming to the table to ensure that everything was up to standard which it was. It was nice to learn about the wine and taste it, it confirmed that I am a Red Wine person great evening with friends and somewhere we would go back to. Thank you.

We love this place. The tasting menu enables you to sample the wonderful flavours created by the chef who always comes out later to see if you've enjoyed your food. A lovely touch. The Sunday lunch menu is very good value, better in fact, than two/three courses in most local pubs. Good to have a decent restaurant locally. Go and see for yourselves.

We have just come home from a very special evening and such an amazing experience. Thank you Chez Vous for allowing us to be a part of your birthday celebrations. The atmosphere was incredible, staff were impeccable and the food was out of this world! All in all, faultless!!! The magician was amazing too! I am still dumb struck as to how he pulled off the trick he did! X

We enjoyed the whole atmosphere and looking forward to visiting again very soon.

This restaurant is very local for us so have been many times. The Friday night tasting menu is great value and the food never disappoints. The chef always comes out to speak to you after the meal which is a really nice touch and makes you feel special.

Our third visit and food was excellent, as before, can't fault it! Chef Patron Laurent came round to all tables and chatted to everyone; charming man who's responsible for delicious meals. Can't recommend this place highly enough!

Had the fixed price menu which was absolutely delicious and excellent value for money. I had the onion soup to start which was really nice. Not overpowering as onion soup can be and perfectly seasoned. Calves liver for my main, was not asked how I liked it and was concerned when it was served slightly pink. However it was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. I chose the Blackcurant mousse and meringue for dessert which was divine. A bit concerned that when we arrived they had no record of our booking but they fitted us in. Service was excellent, mainly very smart young waitresses. The restaurant is very elegant and tastefully decorated. Would highly recommend.

Had lunch here yesterday, food and service excellent as usual. Can thoroughly recommend.

Excellent food and the chef came out at the end of the evening to find out how we'd enjoyed our meal - what a lovely touch. The only down side was that there were no cocktails being served at the bar before dinner because there was no mixologist. Otherwise a fabulous evening. I would recommend it.

Chez Vous was our wedding caterer on the 14th July at Smallfield Place! The food was exceptionally good and the Chez Vous team offered outstanding service the whole day!

Special thank you to Sarah and chef Martin! Sarah your team running skills are flawless, you made it look so easy and chef Martin your food is amazing, keep making couples happy with your food!

Thank you for being part of our day and making it so special!

We will definitely come and visit you guys for a meal out soon.

2nd visit to Chez Vous and has not ceased to impress.. amazing amazing food and service from the bar to the restaurant to the management. My mother has been a chef for the royal families and many diplomatic officials and she to comments that she thoroughly enjoy the evening and the food was to return for... superb.

16 of us (local school mums) enjoyed the delicious tasting menu last Friday - the food was superb as was was the attentive service. All those with specific dietary requirements were provided with alternate options which were equally appealing (to the eye & palate!) and the Chef Patron spoke to us at the end - a lovely touch.

We hope to be back in the Autumn!

....first visit yesterday. .for my birthday lunch ...plus 3 others....we all had the set lunch menu from which I chose smoked chicken starter. .. sea bass main...and then ginger pudding with icecream ..all dishes were Fantastic! .. best lunch I've had in a very long time. ..I will be back....the whole presentation game has been taken to a new high...service is immaculate and not intrusive. ...well done to the whole team...�

Service was very slow initially -didn't get first drinks for 45 minutes and when we hadn't got our starters within an hour ( set menu!) the maitre d' was incredibly rude! However, the food was fantastic and the chef was very cordial as usual. Will return for sure but the service doesn't match the food.

Food was exceptional, delicious, good portions , served beautifully. Only criticism is similar jus & accompaniments on my starter & main & service was just 'ok', adequate. We had lots of different people come to our table rather than one which I found unusual- not sure that works. Would definitely recommend Chez-Vous on food alone. Five star dining- good value & delicious. Wonder why you'd ask on booking if the booking is for a celebration & then not mention it - it was our Anniversary!

Had a lovely meal this evening and also on two other occasions however, feel very let down and slightly ripped off this evening. Tonight for 3 of us and having the same as we've had before with the exception of no alcohol for 2 of us today we have been charged almost double what we were charged before.



We haven't been over charged as far as we can see based on the menu prices we saw but, it would appear that there is more than one menu and price list which we were not offered.

It wasn't until we had ordered our meals that we noticed lots of other tables being given a different menu with a 'special offer' on it.



A little transparency wouldn't go a miss here as we are now unlikely to return. A real shame as we were hoping to hold a christening at chez vous early next year.
