We had a lovely 4 night stay, the facilities were excellent, staff were friendly and the caravan was comfortable. The downside was that the caravan used to get hot after coming back from a day out but after opening windows it was fine and it has actually made us want to move to Chichester as we miss the coast.

Just come back from a weekend away and had an amazing time. Staff couldnt do enough for you, accomodation was clean and comfortable, we had a bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival. Lovely clubhouse, food delicious and reasonable...highly recommend.

I've camped here for a few years with work as worked Goodwood races and we camped to save money and now we holiday here. Great location and close to lots of things to do like Arundel Castle and Wetlands, Bosham, Pagham, Hayling Island and the IOW is a short boat ride away for a great day out. Beautiful picturesque part of the country. First time we've used on site for food and have to say we we're impressed as Normally eat out. What more do people want from caravan, can't believe some of the nasty reviews. Your on holiday, get out the van and enjoy the area, you don't have to stay in your van all day and complain about it. Already booked next year's week away with them and got a free Loopy toy, bonus xx

I had such a great time here the entertainment staff were amazing they encouraged everyone to join in and done games and everything for all age ranges I will miss this place and will be coming back as soon as I can. I really can't fault this holiday park the park stars love what they do and it really shows, would highly recommend this holiday park to everyone.

Amazing place. The entertainment staff were absolutely fantastic and I’m going to miss them all very much. I’ve never been to a holiday park where the staff actually let you get involved. I will 100% be back as soon as I can. The park stars are by far the best people I’ve ever met and you can tell they really do love what they do. Couldn’t fault this short break at all.

We arrived today , were camping , first time here just for 1 nite spontanious thing, initial impressions are good , its quite abig park , clean and the staff are really lovely, my only reason for 4 stars is i think the shop should be open later on a friday and saturday which is their busiest times, and as i have 8 kids of my own which id like to bring with me here next time, is all that space in the park area and alot of kids, the park should be much bigger! There are no swings , no slide, or round about nothing atall for the really little ones, its not adequate right now , u could potentially put in a small crazy golf or football pitch in that bit aswell as more things to cater for all the kids that come here wich is my only reason for a 4 star, truely think if improvements are made to that area more visitors would visit � xx

Had a lovely weekend break here, Park was very pretty lovely views and waking up to ducks walking round the caravan. Lovely heated pool, quiet a small park but was perfect for a weekend away. Caravan was basic and not to clean on arrival. Had a nice time here.

Despite a bit of road noise this place is lovely. The lakes are picturesque, the staff are friendly, the pool is modest but clean & very warm. The facilities could benefit from a little spruce but they are generally clean and well stocked. The food is not five star but served with a smile and good value for money. Overall I would say that this is perfect for a low key break with plenty of local activities to keep you going.

We arrived at 3pm to be told our check in was at 4pm (not on my info it wasn't) and then we didn't even get to check in until almost 5pm because our caravan wasn't ready. For the inconvenience we were given a bottle of wine, a bag of popcorn, and some doggy bags and dog food.



The caravan was very basic, we had a duvet and pillow for the double pull out bed and were given pillow cases but not a duvet cover!! We had a dustpan and brush, no broom mop or small push along hoover like all other sites we've been to.



There were other things that nagged at me such as they don't have indoor swimming facilities so we had to take the children to the local lesuire centre which cost me an extra £30 odd on top of the holiday and the arcade is very small with a lot of the machines kept going out of order. The shop was very basic but seemed to run out of a lot of products on a daily basis.



The Park Stars are AMAZING and they made our holiday, I'll be honest if it weren't for them on our first night I'd have taken my children home just because I could have had better facilities elsewhere. They were a big part of us feeling good about where we were.



I think you could step it up a notch Park....

This could potentially a good site but is not that good. The toilets and showers are not very clean.. this is caused really by people who allow children to use the facilities without being there to supervise themselves. Some people just don't take responsibility for their children. My husband wanted to use the toilets and there was feaces all over the seat. I went into the showers to find people had left used nappies lying on the floor when there was a bin outside. Whilst this is not the sites fault but I only saw staff cleaning once a day. More regular cleaning needed.

Disappointed with swimming pool..really no changing rooms and no staff to help.

Entertainment or non entertainment! Went up to enjoy some entertainment to find bingo and a quiz...I asked the staff when the main act started and they said that was it. Was so disappointed. We came to the site so my 15 year old grandson could enjoy himself....he ended being totally bored. The noise of the traffic at night also kept us awake. Very disappointing weekend.

Stayed 2 nights end of May Bank holiday. The touring pitches were not very well organised and a bit of a free for all. The shower and toilet blocks were disgustingly filthy with not a cleaner in site for the 2 days we were there. The rubbish bins were overflowing and people were just throwing carrier bags full of rubbish on the floor in the general area of the bins. We tried the clubhouse and entered via a games room type reception area, this was again filthy with litter and very noisy from unsupervised kids. The bar area looked ok but had very loud music, so we decided to go out onto the very picturesque patio area. Unfortunately that was a nightmare with music from the bar being pumped out through speakers, it was so loud the speakers were distorted which made it worse. Then to top it off everyone who smoked must have been out there puffing there smoke over anyone sitting out there. It is desperate need of a sectioned off smoking area. Needless to say we didn't stay.. What an awful place.

We will not be returning, I would rather wild camp.

So we stayed here over the bank holiday. We arrived by 12:00 on Saturday 27th May the site was absolutley jam packed. We stayed in the Touring park. We had been warned to avoid the back of the grounds due to road traffic as it backed onto the motorway unfortunately we had little choice in this. Pitches are not allocated or managed very well. We drove around looking for a pitch for a while, Others approached us and had been driving around for over a hour looking for somewhere to pitch. The general touring field is ok with plenty of playing area for children although I think the park is a pitter fall size for the size of the grounds. There are 2 toilet and shower blocks both situated at the font of the grounds really inconvieniant for anyone staying at the back. Waist water is also only located at the front. The toilets and showers were awful not maintained or cleaned regularly at all. The Shower I used barely worked there was dirt everywhere and even a tampon on the floor of the shower. It wasnt a very nice experience. The entertainment bar and small arcade were not much to go by either too small for the overall size of the resort. The bar was always messy, unclean and very under staffed the only nice thing is that it overlooked a stunning lake so had a beautiful view. The entertainment wasn't great but the staff try their best. Overall we made the most if it and enjoyed ourselves having met a lovely guy with his daughter who our children got along with really well. We had a lovely time but I will not be returning to lakeside due to the poor management and poor quality of standards. The location is beautiful the lake is stunning. If you want to avoid noise then I don't recommend this site as you can't guarantee getting a pitch away from the road. The grounds are ok although there were several grass and mud piles around the Touring field and a few pitches that were out of order. The static van side however seemed very well maintained and much nicer. The outdoor pool looked nice we didn't use it as the weather hasn't been the best we did how ever take a 15 minute drive to a local leisure centre and took the kids swimming and had a shower there. There is a lot if potential at Lakeside as it's a beautiful location but unfortunately it's let down by the actual standards of the resort . The staff despite fighting a loosing battle were always friendly and helpful despite it being obvious there wasn't enough of them.

Just got home from my third visit. Come down with colleagues around the same time every year and it has steadily gone downhill, this year was the worst. Most busy I've ever seen but clearly don't have the staff to deal with it. At 9:45 this morning the 'Men's old block' toilets cleaning schedule had three entries, 27th, and two on the 28th with the latest claiming to have been yesterday (28th) at 4:00, no mention of whether this was am or pm and a friend of mine stated that she'd been looking at the same thing earlier the same morning and the cleaning schedule was full, so clearly making it up! Toilets had not been cleaned, there was a used plaster on the side from the previous day and my boyfriend was unable to find loo roll in any male toilets. When you are that busy you really should have people checking the facilities 3/4 times a day! Such a let down as it could be a really amazing site with a fab kids play area and excellent location for loads of beaches and things to do locally.

Beautiful sites, clean caravan. Entertainment was very poor not enough to do for the kids, we ended up wearing ourselves out keeping them more entertained then the park. Pool was ok but closed so earlier it was pointless. Food was poor. And at the end had some women starting on me and my children due to her son accidentally being knocked in the head by my two year old who was on the bouncy castle with hers and no member of staff bothered to come over and see if everything was ok.

What a shame..... the site is in a great position but touring pitches are pot luck. If you arrive on a busy weekend you will probably have no choice but to park right next to the A27. Toilet facilities were cleaned by one person once a day which is just not enough when the pitches are full. The toilet emptying drains were often full & overflowing. I believe the facilities are to be updated next year & we will go back to see before we book again as we met some lovely people.

We have stayed at other park holiday resorts before but sadly this one was not a good experience. We stayed on an electric pitch, and I can say for the size of this site there definitely not enough ablutions available, it could with at least another block on the far side of the site. As it was it was busy while we where here and the facilities where always busy and sadly never really clean... and the the other block flooded and so the whole site was left with one block of ablutions firs thing in the morning, I felt sorry for the staff on hand trying to manage the messy chaos. Then we also had an horrendous breakfast at the clubhouse with budget sausages and no eggs, which is also not big enough for this site, and there where never enough staff to keep on top of things, it always looked messy. The shop was out of of the most basic items the first day we arrived and was lacking even more when we left, so we constantly had to go off site for ice etc, which is no major but if u have a shop u need to have it stocked. And finally it may not appear so but this site backs on to the main A27 and is very noisy all day and night, a suggestion would be to build a sound barrier wall along the back of the site to help this as it was noticeable all the time. Overall we felt the site was badly managed and could do with some attention to some real basics like a regular bathroom cleaning rota and bin collection rota, things just seemed slack. I must say that the staff we dealt with where very friendly but possibly not enough staff. Unless things improve we will not be visiting again...

We have arrived back from this park today we stayed four nights on a electric pitch, me my partner and 4 children, we have stayed at parks before but this park was a massive let down for the whole family even our 9 year old son commented on how bad things where we had a breakfast one morning at the restaurant on site it was stupidly expensive and very very poor quality we where the only people in there and twice our order came out wrong in the end we just ate it because we couldn't be bothered to keep sending it back to get what we ordered, twice we ordered food to take back to the tent for lunch the 1st time I waited 45 minutes when I asked where my food was they said they had forgot because they where busy with a delivery so I asked for my money back and went off site instead the second time after waiting 20 minutes I asked where the food was and it had been given to the wrong table. The female toilets where cleaned by male cleaners which I found out when I came out of the toilet and a man was stood there smiling at me cleaning the sink! They should check the toilets are empty before they enter a female toilet especially as there are showers in there aswell there is no park for the children just a climbing frame in the middle of a field the bins are always over flowing the arcade is just a few broken machines and the shop never has any stock as I can now see from the reviews these are all regular complaints as they date back years and still there is no improvement on anything the children where very disappointed as where we a waisted holiday wish we went elsewhere

My parents were there half a day paying for a gold plus caravan and it being absolutely thilfy and dirty with cobwebs , sick down radiator. Dirty carpet, fag packet in bed absolutely appalling!!!!!

I've never been to a site as disgusting in my life! The facilities were dirty, well beyond what a busy weekend would cause. The shower blocks don't even offer anything to clean up after yourself e.g., floor squeegee/ mop... which have been present at every other site we've used, I've had better cleanliness at festivals like Glastonbury �� this place made me feel sick and concerned for my own health and my 1 year old daughters who we felt best bathing in a baby bath by the side of the camper van. We payed for a camp site with facilities and we didn't even want to use these facilities due to the cleanliness issues. The whole of the toilet and shower blocks need revamping and refurbishing! Disgusting! Also the management just give you poor excuses!

My parents were there half a day paying for a gold plus caravan and it being absolutely thilfy and dirty with cobwebs , sick down radiator. Dirty carpet, fag packet in bed absolutely appalling!!!!!

I've never been to a site as disgusting in my life! The facilities were dirty, well beyond what a busy weekend would cause. The shower blocks don't even offer anything to clean up after yourself e.g., floor squeegee/ mop... which have been present at every other site we've used, I've had better cleanliness at festivals like Glastonbury �� this place made me feel sick and concerned for my own health and my 1 year old daughters who we felt best bathing in a baby bath by the side of the camper van. We payed for a camp site with facilities and we didn't even want to use these facilities due to the cleanliness issues. The whole of the toilet and shower blocks need revamping and refurbishing! Disgusting! Also the management just give you poor excuses!
