Chiddingly Village Market harks back to the traditional English country way of life, when you could go and buy locally made crafts, produce and plants. Often the Village markets was the only way of meeting people and everyone looked forward to the arrival market day. In this day and age everything moves so fast it is nice to think that some traditions still live on. We welcome everyone to come along, have a cupper and meet new friends, and browse the stalls. There is fresh fruit and veg, organic meats, locally produced honey, delicious preserves and chutneys, top class baked goods, plants, eggs, cards, jewellery, wood products, soft toys, handmade ipad and phone cases, hats, gloves, gifts and arts. Not forgetting the refreshments of tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits. Treat yourself and come along and experience the gentle and friendly way of shopping.
