Rochester Diocese currently has two Children and Youth Work Advisers - Cheryl Trice (youth work lead) and Laura Webster (youth and children for Bromley and Bexley Archdeaconry). Both can be contacted by phone 01634 560000 or by email:

Both Cheryl and Laura can support parish churches in five key ways:
1) Resources, Advice and Guidance:
Develop, offer and share high quality guidance on specific children's and youth work issues.
2) Participation:
They encourage the participation of children and young people in the life of parishes, the Diocese and the wider Church of England, enabling them to influence decision-making and initiate positive change in their churches, local communities and the wider world.
3) Training and Development:
They develop, offer and deliver a training programme for parishes in Rochester Diocese, which is responsive and encouraging as well as innovative and inspirational.
4) Communication:
Keep people across Rochester Diocese up to date about children and youth work via a range of media.
