Been here 3-4 times over the past 2 months and had nothing but great service from really friendly staff. The food is amazing the fact the gluten free menu is so good so my partner has as much to choose from as me is a real treat. I was almost put off by the bad reviews but I have found the points left by others to be untrue those people probably expect silver service for them and there little snot goblins and probably left no tip but a massive mess to clean up.

The taste was OK but when you ask for it to be volcano hot you don't expect it to be mild at best. Very disappointed on the heat side of things

Staff were quite blunt and rude, like they couldn't be bothered to be there! Food came out on a "sizzling" hot plate that weren't sizzling nor hot! Also we asked to move tables as ours wasnt quite big enough for us and the amount of food ordered and point blank refused even though it's was completely dead in there and there was 5 other large tables we could of sat at and remained empty the entire time spent there. We've usually had a great experience in past visits but on this occasion was left disappointed all Round! Not in a rush to come back!

Without doubt the WORST dining experience ever. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Although the staff were fine, the food was perfectly ok (even for my so called snot goblins) this was more than ruined by very very slow service and the disgusting attitude of the manager. Once we'd eaten the trouble started. After I pointed out a discrepancy in the bill the staff said they couldn't rectify it but the manager would. The manager came over and was absolutely vile, despite the fact that an error had been made on their part. He then basically called me a liar in front of other diners and told me never to come back. Well guess what. ..... that would be absolutely fine by me as I wouldn't eat there for free. And to the toss pot who's reviewed saying that all bad reviews are basically made by spoilt idiots - get a life. It's more than possible that the bad reviews reflect a badly run joke of an establishment, especially as the bad reviews appear recently to be, by far, the majority. But I guess we're all wrong/lying and you're correct, eh?

Went to the Portsmouth Gunwharf restaurant ( I use the word restaurant loosely) Wednesday tea time, I have to say it was one of the worst meals we have ever had, my nine year old grandson said his burger tasted as if it had been cooked the day before and then reheated in the microwave it was so dry, of the six meals ordered only two were eaten, we complained to the waiter several times and he said he had informed the manager, we thought he would come and speak to us, we thought wrong and when we asked we were told he’s too busy, we were given a £16 discount as a goodwill gesture which is a total insult, when we left I went over and spoke to the very busy manager who was standing by the kitchens, he was not at all interested and denied all knowledge of our complaint despite telling me he had given me a goodwill discount and blamed his staff, absolutely disgusting customer service, we won’t be returning to this establishment,

Tried to have lunch here yesterday, sat down outside, know a waiter saw us, sat there for about 20 minutes, decided you must order food at the bar. Walked in to try and find somebody, a gentleman at the bar was very abrupt informing me we should have asked before sitting down (There was no signs and other people had done the same.) and that he couldnt take our order he would send somebody to us shortly. Went back outside sat for another 20 mins before getting so annoyed we walked accross to Frankie and Benys which served us quickly and with a friendly attitude! Could see inside while we were waiting and they were 3/4 empty and most of staff stood around so not like they were busy! Will not be going back.

Today's visit was absolutely diabolical! Cold food, cold plates, portions for a mouse! And we'll over priced!

This is the worse meal I have ever had ! The tacos looked like dog meat the chicken is so dry don't know why they ask you how hot you want it as do not season anything food bland. When we told the waitress she just walked away and served another table. I would never eat there again ! Vile and staff don't care

There’s a guy who works there who had the name badge Matt, he is as rude as they come. Have no idea what customer service means and to be quite blunt seems a bit of a ****

Sat at table for 1h 10mins starters turn up bad service 30 mins after main came chips were cold mushroom were over cooked a friend waited 24mins for there drink to turn up sorry but that's bad service we then orderd more drinks waited 15mins to find out thay had been sat on the bar for 13mis of the 15 mins come on service where we're u?

Really disappointed and upset treated myself and partner and daughter to lunch here today my daughter was eating her pudding and there was a sharp piece of plastic in her pudding it got into her mouth and she pulled it out and it's lucky she didn't swallow it or even worse choke onit and they justify this by giving me a discount on my drinks. It would of been a different case if she had choked on it you can't put a price on it and I'm disappointed I even had to pay atall. Things could of ended A lot worse for my daughter she's only 6 years old!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm definitely disappointed as I wanted to have a gluten free burger finally and what I got wasn't a burger. I don't know how can they call something without buns as burger. This is a burger: � when I ordered it wasn't highlighted that I will get a naked "burger" and without buns it shouldn't be the same price either. And they haven't offered discount or refund.

I had my hen do here in April 2016. there was a group of 17 of us. The food came out at different times, some meals were cold, some completely inedible, and some meals completely different from what was ordered. When talking to the manager he was incredibly rude!!!!!!

They also phoned my friend that day to ask for her to change the time to an earlier time as they had another group in the same evening but when booking my friend got told that we would be the only large group that evening and that they only cater for one large group per evening!! Poor organisation!!!

Rule here not suitable for big groups!!!

It took so long to wait for food and then staff walked past whilst our empty plates had been sitting there for at least half an hour!! They were happy to talk at the bar and chat! I don't usually complain but have been here before and had great service. Such a shame. There were other tables complaining so I think the overall service etc today is pretty dire..
