We went to Strood restaurant yesterday afternoon wasn’t very busy but the service was excellent and food was brilliant defently go back again lovely cocktails too

Service was excellent. All meals were brilliant. Took long to arrive but that's cos i was very busy. Shows they are good. Great offers. Thanks for my birthday treat. Had a great time :)

Lovely food, lovely atmosphere lovely food. Ideal place for a family mother’s day meal for 12. Not been before but will definitely go again.

It was a very enjoyable meal and we had a nice time... would recommend this place.

I had the Enchiladas loved them. Really nice atmosphere and good service. Very quick even though they were very busy. Loved happy hour and the 2 for 1 cocktails.

Visited last night with a friend. Had an amazing time. Service was so quick. Food was amazing. Waiter was great. Very friendly and had a joke with us.

2 for 1 cocktails however were either watered down or no alcohol in at all, was disappointed with those. After 8pm though cocktails were very strong. So they seem to be making money off you for 2 for 1.

Great menu with lots of options, lovely view and great service.

Went for a birthday meal last night, ribs were very nice but southern fried chicken with with bbq pulled pork tasted like it had been reheated. Sauces we requested were wrong and one didn’t turn up till meal was finished. Service was very slow, so slow we couldn’t even be bothered to wait to be served, we’d asked for the dessert menu and after 40 minutes asked for the bill and left. Won’t be rushing back.

The food was lovely. But the service was terrible. We was sat for ages before we even got given a menu or asked what drink we wanted. Then when finally ordered a veggie option....(a veggie burger) they didn't have it. When we got our order finally....the food was lovely. There was no personal service. They didn't check we was ok......left us for ages after meal. So long so we didn't gave a pudding. It then took 3 goes to get bill right!......

Sorry but it was not for me they did not have our table ready even though we had booked well in advance they tried their best with a free drink whiles we were kept waiting for over half an hour. But I will not be returning .

We went to Chiquito st Westfield shopping centre Margate the weekend and well, wasn’t as good as previous visits. We have been a good few times before and enjoyed our meals but this time-no. The food itself was lovely . It’s just the service you get. I can only presume it was a manager who sat us and took our order and he was useless!

We asked for a straw for our sons drink. Nope, didn’t show up. Forgot to order our starter. Why is it they don’t write your order anymore? Do they think they’re clever trying to memorise it? He then decided to dedicate his time to his friends who were sitting at a table and just expected the poor waitresses to do everything. If I was in charge I would have sacked him instantly!

My son never received his desert as part of his kids meal which led to us just leaving the money on the table and walking out. We love Chiquito but won’t be visiting this one again!

We loved chiquito's until they got cheep ! We visited last night for the first time in a little while and hated the changes, no popcorn on the tables any more, they have stopped making peach belinis , my favourite the menus are now laminated wipe clean sheets with revised and less choice food options and since when was southern fried chicken Mexican ? I can't say we hated it but it's no longer our favourite, looks like we will be going to chimichanga's

Slow service, but then we was the only couple in the outdoors area so I guess easily forgotten. Food wise, nothing to write home about.. most these dishes you can make yourself & to a much higher standard at home for a fraction of the cost. Not what you could call representative of "value for money" all things considered. Only positive, the coconut margarita's were lovely.

Service was beyond slow. Waitress serving was blank and unfriendly. It took 40Mins for our food to arrive for 4 of us. No word of warning of the delay and no apology. No one bothered checking on how our meal were until we had almost finished. Had to call over to order more drinks. Food was wonderful. Shame about the awful service.

Food was nice but bloke that served us did not get rest of food to our order very shabby service could not enjoy meal as it did not all come. Also the bar man was miserable did not smile very rude I work with the public a smile and but of chat goes a long way never Gunn go again and when asked what restaurant my customers want to go to will not recommend this one

Sat in Chiquitos South Ruislip for over half hour with our children without even being asked what we wanted to drink. The manager served two other families who came in after us before we gave up and left. I recommend retraining in customer services

Park Royal branch is an absolute nightmare in hell. Manager Aston is rude to Staff, has no knowledge in managing a restaurant and dealing with things. Clearly short staffed, 3 waiters working, a half decent manager would help, whereas Aston decided to polish cutlery and shake his head at his staff. Waiters were all very hardworking!! Waited 10 minutes to be seated, 30 minutes until a waiter came and asked for our drinks order let alone food, 40 minutes for our starter to arrive and our main took over an hour so we had to up and leave just like a few other customers did. Looking around, loads of people complaining and asking for the manager who basically hid away for a good few minutes. Absolutely shocking, I’d rather get a McDonald than ever step into that restaurant again. Don’t waste your time until it’s hopefully SOON under new management.

Ordered our drinks at the bar which we got straight away but our food orders took a lot longer to come to the table. For our starter we ordered shared nachos with chilli. First of all, the order took 20 minutes to arrive and then when the starter eventually arrived, there wasn't any chilli on it at all. I had to call the waitress over to see if we could actually have some chilli on the nachos. After we had finished the starter and they collected the plate, it took another 20 mins for the mains to come out. I ordered the Mexican salmon which was around £15.95. What I got was 4 baby potatoes, a bit of broccoli and a bit of salmon I can only describe as something I would pay £3 for at Aldi supermarket. So if I was to recommend chiquitos, at festival park, Basildon, to anyone I wouldn't.
