It’s not a cheap day out and mostly we use our local cinema which is more affordable. But the view is always great, the seats are well tiered and the 4D although pricey is amazing! Pick the right film for that to get your moneys worth though - something with a fair bit of action

User

Great cinema, spacious comfortable seats, air conditioning a plus & staff very helpful & friendly

Down side - drinks, popcorn & confectionery costs an arm & a leg suggest patrons buy elsewhere before they enter the cinema!

User

Went to 4dx to see Jurassic world. It was very hot in there. The water and wind effects were very welcome. The moving seats were good but very rough in certain places. Prices are ridiculous luckily we can get discounted tickets otherwise we would never come. My son loved the tv thing you stand behind

User

Saw Jurassic world fallen kingdom 4dx 3D while we enjoyed the film and all the bells and whistles that go with 4dx, we did not enjoy the heat in screen 1 it was very hot, my friend was very hot and uncomfortable, this is the second time at Crawley we’ve had this problem please sort it out. Upon leaving the cinema several other people were saying the same thing.

User

I think that the cineworld is only worth while if you take you own food and have a unlimited card and are able to go at least once a week. But a enjoyable experience of the year so far, Avengers Infinity war.

User

Generally a good cinema. Lots of screens with plenty on. Only downside is sometimes there are people talking through films. This tends to be an issue at a lot of cinemas but staff are supposed to come in and check on each screening but that rarely seems to happen.

User

Well in my whole 22 years of life I have been going to the cinema and having an tango ice blast I am absolutely devasted to come here tonight on Valentine’s Day, as if being single isn’t enough. Your tango ice blasts machines are broken. What is this? I should of Atleast received an email to inform me of this before

I got my hopes up. On the upside let’s hope the film is good.

User

The cinema is great, even with the bizarre new “night club” look in the foyer. It’s always clean, the IMAX is fantastic and staff are friendly. Prices are ridiculous though - even with my unlimited card, it cost over £2 for a 500ml bottle of flavoured water... My biggest bug bear, however, is WiFi; namely, that there is none! How can a huge chain like Cineworld have no WiFi?! Especially charging the prices you do! If coffee shops can do it, surely you can?!

User

It's always well presented clean and the staff always helpful the Main issues are the price of tickets (now I'm an unlimited member this isn't a issue) and the price of the drinks and snacks are daylight Robbery so I use the Starbucks on the second floor I think if you whant to go more than once a month get the unlimited card

User

I toke my 5 kiddies as a treat as one off my kids won 2 tickets at school I was shocked at the price £9.80 for a child I had to leave my buggy in a coner were there was no staff and the que for popcorn and drinks well that was madness the price 2 popcorns and 3 bags off sweets which the popcorn was only half poped got into the screening and out seats were clean kids seemed happy the film was good next time I think I will bring my own food and drink tho as the price was just way over priced

User

Went to watch Solo in 4DX last Friday and after shelling out nearly £80 on 4 tickets was left very short changed as for some reason the picture was so dark you could barely see 1/4 of the movie. I’ve since been to see the film again elsewhere in regular 3D and the picture was fine. I’ve raised the issue with Cineworld and they’ve just blamed it on the film providers. I accept that problems can occur but failure to accept them is deplorable, I doubt I will be making the long trip to Crawley again.

User

Shocked at the price for 2 tickets - £27.00!!! if it wasn't for the fact it was chosen by the other person i would have gone to my local small cinema they only charge £4.00 per ticket. The value for money is poor on that front. Would rather have gone there or waiting to get the DVD off ebay in future and have my own TV and surround system anyway,

User

It was so hot in the theatre that it was all I could think about and made me feel ill & ruined the movie. All I could hear was people around me saying how hot it was, and it was! The heating was on and it was so unnecessary as not that many people were in the theatre either, yet still it was so awful and we pay so much money to go as well.

User

Did movies for juniors this morning, which is a great deal and obviously very popular. With this is mind, you would think they would have all the tills open for food and drink...this wasn’t the case - only 3 were open, had to queue for around half an hour for 2 bags of popcorn, which turned out to have a couple of inches of unpopped kernels at the bottom. My husband watched one of the servers attempt pouring a black coffee around six times. I asked one of the 3 members of staff standing chatting at the end of the counter if they could possibly do something and all of them just stared at me and mumbled something about tills. Think we’ll just take our own popcorn next time... On the plus side, the seats were comfy and clean, and we all enjoyed the film.

User

another screening ruined by the noise of popcorn served in huge paper bags, being eaten by people who don't understand the concept of not chatting through a movie. These tickets are very expensive and it would be nice if your company could provide recyclable cardboard containers for popcorn and perhaps a member of staff to be available inside the cinema. Eight people felt the need to get up and move seats because of the noise from one corner of the cinema, one couple left entirely, but no member of staff there to sort the problem. My husband and I are seriously thinking about giving up on go out to "the pictures" as it feels like such a waste of money. 13.50 showing of Ghost Stories

User

We made the trip from Eastbourne to watch The First Purge in Screen 8, 21:30 on 24/07/18 and couldn’t believe the heat. It was so hot and unbearable that we had to leave half way through the film!

User

Today's visit was a disaster.....Went to see Mission Impossible with Tom Cruise, it's a 12A and 2 and half hrs long. Behind me Sat 2 little kids about 5yrs old who didn't understand the movie and it was way too long. So they chatted and played throughout the whole film. I went out to complain and someone popped in but it didn't make a difference. It totally ruined the film for us and it looks like there are others that have experienced talking and noise on here too during their film. Maybe that family should of been stopped before entering.

User

Not impressed with Cineworld, considering how much you have to pay for 4DX the tight gits still make you pay £1 for the 3D glasses, IMAX is cheaper and you get free glasses and the picture quality and sound is better in IMAX

User

My granddaughters were at the 10.40am screening of "Patrick" in Screen 7 this morning (Sun 8th July). Their experience was ruined by a disabled man who was shouting inaudible sounds quite loudly at various times during the film. His two carers took him out twice because he was disrupting the film, but they brought him back in each time with the result that he continued shouting from time to time for the duration of the film. My complaint has nothing to do with a lack of compassion for the man in question, but instead asks if Cineworld are quite prepared to allow the enjoyment of the majority at their cinemas to be spoiled by the interruptive shouting of someone who clearly cannot help disrupting a screening in this way. Surely the carers should have been asked to not take him back into the film after they had taken him out for a second time. I would appreciate hearing Cineworld's policy on matters such as this please.
