Join us Sunday 24th June between 10-1pm at Long Furlong Barn - Wedding & Corporate Venue, for a glass of fizz and a wander! All the Team from the Barn and from Circa will be there to chat through your options at this gorgeous venue!

We're looking for waiting and bar staff to join us for our summer season of events at Circa Events!
Experience preferable but not essential as training will be given, over 16's only. Rate of pay starts at £7.85 per hour dependent on age and experience, shifts are weekdays and weekends, varying week to week with rotas scheduled two weeks in advance. You can work as little or as much as you like - perfect if you want to earn some money over the summer!
As a busy events company ...based in Brighton, with over 120 events a year, we're looking for friendly, versatile and enthusiastic team members. Roles will include serving food and drink to guests throughout the day and evening and working on our bars. A friendly, confident and professional attitude is needed, shifts can be long but the job is great fun, the events are varied and you'll be working with a great team! Transport is arranged but drivers are very much loved (and paid accordingly) ❤️

We used Circa for our wedding on the 13th May at Long Furlong Barn; what can I say? The food and service was nothing but faultless. The staff could not do enough to help, they were incredibly organised, and the food lived up to and exceeded our expectations. Not only was the actual event fantastic, but the service prior to the event could not have been better. Responsive to emails, flexible, catered for all allergies present at the wedding, offered a fantastic tasting service. Generally great service all round, can't recommend highly enough! We used Circa for our wedding in July. People are still talking about how amazing our food was! We had macaroni cheese and chicken pie for our mains and they were both amazing! Pizza cart in the evening too, it was all worth every penny! Once we had our tasting you looked after us right through to the end of the night at our wedding and Liv was amazing at looking after us. All your staff are so polite and couldn't do enough to help us from setting up to the last second. Thank you

We had Circa at our wedding yesterday at Long Furlong and I had to write a review straight away! The food and service was exceptional!! Everyone has said they were blown away by the food, particularly the surf and turf canapés and cocktail shots! Thank you so much!

We chose Circa to be the caterers for our recent nuptials at Long Furlong Barn. At the time of booking the venue, we had a choice of 6 caterers and Circa stood out from the start; the ease of quote process, their creativity with food and most importantly - the amazing quality! Having been an Event Manager for 5 years I have worked with many caterers and Circa have been the best to work with. They really do go the extra mile - we briefed them with a Brownie Tower which they had never done before, it looked AMAZING! Thank you Circa from two newlywed foodies :-)

The food was amazing! Such a wide, delicious range of food available for all dietary and age requirements. Staff were amazing and organised throughout the day and our guests could not get enough of the food available and have not stopped telling us how much they loved it!

My partner and I only looked at Laughton Barns and we knew straight away that it was where we wanted to have our special day. The barn is just stunning and what makes it even better is the professional service you get along with it.



From the beginning all the circa team were incredible. They were always at the end of the phone or email if I needed any help or an answer to all the questions I had, nothing was too much trouble.



Our special day flowed so well,you couldn't fault it, this was all thanks to Liv. We want to thank you Liv for making our day so so special. You helped me all day the day before and the barn looked amazing. On the day you were just fantastic. Everyone was saying how fantastic the day was. The food was just delicious, everyone loved it.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you for all of your help at our wedding. We had the PERFECT day and it was largely down to the circa team. Everyone commented on how brilliant the food and service was.

If amazing food, attentive staff, professionalism and affordability are on your event checklist, then you should look no further than Circa Events. Circa were the caterers for our recent wedding at Angel House. From start to finish, they were absolutely brilliant! Communication (in writing and in person) was clear, helpful and always timely. We were guided through options without any hidden agenda and very much appreciated Circa’s flexibility with some of our more individual requests.



Following a couple of consultations with Jade and a tasting session at the Farm, we ended up choosing selections for our canapés, our wedding breakfast as well as a selection of foods for our evening guests. Ben was also on hand to help us with our wine choices. On both the food and drink front, Circa were excellent! Our guests commented throughout the day on how tasty the food was. Many thought it was of restaurant quality and many more even said the signature Lamb was the best lamb they had EVER tasted! Even now, we have guests reminiscing on how wonderful the food was. Which considering the fact the food was all finished off in Angel House’s small kitchen makes this no small feat and even more of an achievement.



As for the Prosecco and wine (we went for a Chilean red and white), again, our guests were nothing short of complimentary of these choices. Our evening bar was stocked with all the big brand names and we were also lucky enough to be able to include some other options for our guests including refreshing Mojitos and Tuaca (single) shots in the evening (as a one off exception).



We were truly delighted with the dressing for our wedding breakfast room and equally amazed at how slick the turnaround time was in the evening. The service we received from everyone on the day was faultless. The staff were all attentive and always on hand to refill drinks seamlessly. They were also all unobtrusive yet engaging, polite, friendly and helpful and always seemed to have a smile on their face – even though we know it was a long day for them all.



We are so glad we chose Circa Events as our wedding caterers and think a large part of how relaxed and laid back we were on the day can be attributed to our knowledge that Circa had it in the bag (on the food/drink and service front) and that we were in safe hands. We are truly thankful to all the team at Circa for their involvement from start to finish!



Lastly, we couldn’t finish this review without giving a special mention to Jade (Circa Event Manager). Jade helped us pull everything together and liaised with Angel House to make sure everything went as smoothly as it could. Although not usual practice, Jade also gave us a lift home at the end of the evening after our taxi bailed on us and we were left with another 40 minute wait. Just one such example of how she often went above and beyond to help us during our contact with her and Circa. From the both of us – THANK YOU!

I would highly recommend Circa events who provided the catering at our wedding this easter. We chose a roast dinner as the main dish was was incredible and includes a giant Yorkshire pud. As well as the food being exceptional the service was faultless, very professional and friendly. They offer food tasting days where we got to try our whole meal choice before the wedding which was a bonus and the day went without a hitch.

I was a wedding videographer at broyle place and had a chance to experience the food Circa events provided for the wedding, it was truly outstanding. Not only that but the staff were also so friendly and accommodating, Circa were my caterers at my wedding in 2013 and i can safely say they are consistent in quality, taste, service and standards. I run a wedding venue styling company and have worked at Laughton Barns on several occasions now. I wanted to write a review for the way that Circa helped me out this last weekend. I was very unwell and after I contacted them to arrange an alternative time to collect our props, they went above and beyond to help. In particular I'd like to make a special mention to Jade who was very understanding and organised everything. Thank you so much. I wish you every success and know that you will go from strength to strength. I look forward even more now to working at their venues in the future.

The food was AMAZING and all the staff were so attentive and friendly. A truly professional and organised event and Darren and myself cannot thank you enough for all you did. The pizza can was sooooo good ! I’m really pleased we choose it for our evening food.

From the first time we messaged Olivia and she visited us at our home, we knew that we wanted Circa to be our caterers. We got married at Broyle Place on June 1st this year and the company could not have done more to make our day special. Everything was perfect; food, staff, service, all of the organisation and running of the day - it was faultless. We are so grateful to the whole team for everything they did - we weren't the easiest to accommodate a tasting session for because of our jobs!! We would highly recommend them, they're the best. My husband's only complaint was too many photos meant not enough duck wonton canapés(!!), but he's hoping to rectify that at another Circa wedding we're attending soon! We can't wait!! xx

It was laid back enough to fit in with our wedding yet formal enough that people were served quickly and efficiently. If only I could recreate that ranch pasta salad at home �� Thank you guys- I would recommend you to everyone�

Throughout the year of planning that led up to our special day, Circa were with us for every step of the way; they were amazing at replying quickly to emails, giving advice and were really flexible for all our needs. We had a tasting session to help us choose our menu options and the food was even better on the day itself. We had lots of lovely compliments from our guests that the duck confit was the best they'd ever had. We also couldn't recommend their pizza van strongly enough. Personal pizzas, hand made on the spot at 10pm goes down a real treat! and even freshly made gluten-free options! Overall we would definitely recommend Circa for your wedding. Not only is the food amazing but if small problems do occur (like the Bride accidentally not updating one of the table plans to include a new vegetarian) they fix it immediately on the spot, during the dinner, with absolutely no fuss. Thank you Circa for a lovely day!
