Well a busy day on sorting out our DS chrome trims which have been sat in a corner for 2 years. I didnt realize we had so many, then realized we have another load down in the barns....here is just a sample of what we sorted today, 2 sets of Inner cant rail chrome trims. Door lower sealing strip trims Stainless trims for body side rails Rear roof trim... F/R lower trims for doors Side rail trims Front pillar trims Pallas wing trims Pallas door trims upper and more NOTE....these are all original trims not after market... Good afternoon fellow Citroeneers, we are currently stripping two DS engines/gearboxes that we rescued from a scrap yard before they were crushed. Unfortunately they had already been grabbed with those mighty claws and stacked on top of a pile of scrap but after some negotiation and some cash exchanging hands we managed to rescue them. problem then was collecting them, not an easy task when both bolted still to gear boxes...serious weight issue. Now back at base and stripping... them down.....Pictures of what we have retrieved so far. The crank will be out next week but the head will be a different matter(watch this space) ....all will be listed on our Ebay shop.....DX engine with semi auto gearbox, so far split engine from gearbox, we have good timing chain/sprocket, timing chain tensioner kit/ timing chain cover/ engine breather/ clutch cover/ thrust bearing/cam spacer/ Calipers and brake discs.... etc. Clutch plate we are using as a pattern to have replacement friction material made (8 mm Max) so kits for clutch plate friction material available soon in top quality material....

I was stripping an early 2cv steering wheel today ready for painting but decided it looked better in stripped and lacquered form. Great for a Retro rat look....
