We had our Christmas Day dinner there! We sat down on time, the food was fantastic as was the atmosphere and staff! Thank you so much for our perfect Christmas Dinner! Will be booking again for next year!

Visited the clock tower this evening had a lovely meal and played pool after....staff was really friendly and welcoming would definitely recommend for tasty food and good service....will be revisiting soon

Stopped over for a quick bite to eat. What a warm welcome received from the team...the food was delivered quickly and delicious as well. Looking forward to next time.

So went here 8 months ago couldn't get a table due to how busy it was!



8 months later we're back and I have to say I'm glad I came back the food, customer service, atmosphere, also the customers are just perfect I will be returning more often and recommending the food challenges are huge so make sure your hungry value for money

Food was great. Service was quick. Lots of choice on the menu.

We had a pleasant meal served hot by friendly staff. Good value for money. There was quite a long wait for food considering it wasn't at all busy. One point, dinner being served on the griddle pan is quite novel but it might be prudent for staff to warn how hot that remains, if you were engaged in conversation you could end up with a nasty burn before you noticed! Impressed to see a "doggy station" in the garden area, nice touch and great use of a barrel. Overall we enjoyed our meal and would return. Great pricing.

Went to the Clocktower yesterday with 12 other friends. I must say the pub could do with a refurb as quite run down. I didnt like tbe smell in there & eating area right by the toilets which wasnt nice....hence the snell. Having said that all 12 of us had a fab meal...couldnt fault it...& very speedy on service. Would go back if its refurbished.

This is our local pub and we're delighted a few years ago when food was introduced. We have eaten here 2 to 3 times a month ever since. The steak has always been superb, tasty and cooked to perfection. However over the last couple of months the quality has dropped quite considerably. We don't know if the steak comes from a different supplier or a change in chef but either way, the last one we had at the end of October, when the new menu was introduced, was absolutely appalling. It was full of gristle and could have walked off the plate after requesting a medium steak. It is such a shame as would have always recommended the steak here but no more. We now choose other items from the menu and would not have steak again.

Went in last night to take my mum and her friend and my son for dinner. Got there at 7:15 sat down and was told because the big boss was coming the kitchen will shut at 7:30 so order quick.went to order our meals at 7:20 only to be told by chef no more orders as he’s shutting the kitchen. What a way to treat your customers just because the boss is coming in. Your kitchen should be up and running as normal and not close it so you can clean it up. Walked out and ended up having a lovely dinner at spice village instead. Pity you missed out on £65 and probably more due to not having kitchen open!

It's was my first visit here and it will be my last. Wife had rib eye steak medium was well done at one end and rare at other end, I had the codfather was very dry, mushy peas were dry as well.

Inconsistent Beer, dirty glasses, even with new glass washer!!! Please please please sort this out Karen!!!!

I come here to drink not go home with shits!!!

I have been countless times and not really had any problems ...however tonight was really disappointing ! ...seemed to wait forever for food when only one other table of two ordered food? When it came was very hungry ..only to find mine tasted like dish detergent? ! When disappointely took it to bar , waited ages for someone to deal with me , knocking on kitchen door and eventually called 'hellooooo ' ...only to be looked at as if I were making it up by gent that served me ?! ...was extremely grumpy by then !(mad when I'm hungry ) and NOT impressed at all ! 1stly , want my meal when I'm hungry 2ndly, don't expect to be called a liar !
