£1.50 J Bombs // £3 Doubles !!

Really enjoyed the evening, good atmosphere. With larger then life host. With great drinks at good rates. The only downers being, a bit off putting that the music is so loud that staff, feel they need to wear ear plugs. Plus surely making sure all the toilets have seats and no holes in the floor. Would make the £10 entry fee more worth it- thus is the most I've had had to pay.

Very disappointed with food, cocktails and staff. All around us staff were getting orders and tables wrong. A lot of people left Or complained, it was busy but not unmanageable...

Food took a good 45 mins to come out and when it did it was the wrong order, cold and the chicken was dry and over done. We were so hungry that we ate it.. they did take the price of one cocktail off but wouldn’t recommend in the daytime and won’t be going back..

Your bouncers kicked my friend out for "spilling a drink" when she absolutely didn't do anything wrong. Do not pay £7 EACH to get kicked out for doing NOTHING wrong. Bastards security. No need for their nasty attitude when they don't consider the facts of their customers.

Was all amazing until my boyfriend got kicked out and one of the security guards was so rude to me and tried saying he’s ‘banned from all the clubs in Brighton’ yet we was only in this club for about an hour or so. Was tried very unfairly and it’s wrong. Not happy and the way I got spoken too was disgustingly rude.

The wardrobe staff lost my jacket with all my belonges in after I pay for that service. They let me go at 5am with a freezy weather without jacket. The manager come over and saied to me that he would check the camera and let me know about my jacket but after two week now new.. they just disappear. Not professional at all

1. isn't every single person in the/any club drunk? that's the whole reason you go to a club to have fun and get drunk

2. i was only "argumentative" because i asked the bouncer that once he asked me to leave the club for 15mins to "sober up" and he hated that and I also i tried to ask why i was getting kicked out because i believe "you're too drunk" was not a good enough excuse!! now if i was sick or were to sell drugs in the club yes by all means kick me out you have my permission.

Should of made this review a long time ago but after another attempt of enjoying to Coalition I can now say that this is the worst club I have ever been to (and I have been to a lot of bad ones)! Bouncers are rude, aggressive and do not treat their customers like humans. Customers are treated like the dirt on their shoe after paying a lot of money on entrance. From what I have seen the aggression usually seems unnecessary other than that the bouncers have authority over the customer. This was shown when I was kicked out of the club just before I was about to leave with my friends, I was left outside and was not able to get my jacket or let any of my friends know where I was which put me in a vulnerable situation. If I was that drunk and they were considerate they would have let me find my friend who would have take me home safely rather than leave me by the sea alone... On a more lighthearted but ridiculous note I have also been told to stop singing in the queue for the club who play really loud music (there are no residents close by incase my voice was louder than their sound system).....

Shite. Would not recommend to anyone. Been there twice and each experience was as poor as the last. At least their consistent though...Oh yeh and the owner is an ass hole, so he doesn't deserve your money.

On Friday nights this place is inadequate.

The venue is clearly crammed beyond capacity. You are pushed up against people at all times; you cannot even move your arms. How are you supposed to dance like this? You accidentally touch people and get death stares from heteronormative chavs.



Drinks are very cheap if staff can get the order right. Guy at the bar pours vodka into a glass instead of rum. Proceeds to take the ice cubes out with his hands and pours the spirit back into the bottle. 3 doubles and not even drunk leads me to suspect whether the alcohol is watered down to compensate for the low price.



Poor girl at the cloakroom commented on how she has asked management for more hangers to compensate for more coats but she hasn't got them. Queue to put coat here was 20 minutes as she was by herself.



The venue overall is really cool, lighting is good and playlist was legit. Just needs better management than the kind that will undoubtedly passive-aggressively reply to this review!

Then order a Long Island iced tea & £8 each. Coke was flat and again it was weak!!



Was told we were going to a big wait for our food, but after sending out second ordered drinks back the food arrived!



We ordered water as they seriously can’t get that wrong.



Kudos to the new chef his food was good, although lacked basic presentation... in fact that is apparent all through our experience, but the place looks great...

Never in my life have I been told in a club/bar/pub that I wasn’t allowed a slice of Lime in my bloody Corona because the ‘upper management’ said it’s ‘just for cocktails’. Except in Coalition. Fuck off.

Also, I watched people getting kicked out left, right and centre; given how empty the club was on a Saturday night, can you really afford to kick so many people out? As I waited to go in, a guy was told ‘not today mate, your eyes are all over the show’, yet 5 mins later I saw him inside so clearly he proved he was capable of behaving despite the door staff enacting their God-Complex attitude.

Mediocre food, drinks not as advertised, service terrible, cheap plastic single use cutlery breaks while you are trying to use it. Wouldn’t go back. Plenty of other places to try...

Lovely setting. Terrible service. Asked twice to be served. 15 minutes and still no drink. Waitress running around with no ids what they were doing. I left and went somewhere else

6 members of staff outside and people were leaving as they hadn’t been served as the staff were all chatting with their mates!

I’ll give it one star for its location only. Took 25 minutes for drinks to arrive, ordered nachos at same time which we didn’t get at all. Left after an hour, still no nachos, which they tried to charge us for! Oh and when we (stupidly) tried to order second drinks, we were told bar was shutting to restock! This on Saturday lunchtime!!!! Very very poor!!

Fucking shit, they take a picture to me and my friends and we ask where we could see and the photographer said to us that we could see here in facebook but never they put the pictures of this day.

The entry cost 7£ and the goalkeepers of the party said to me that closed at 6 am or more late, it was a lie the club closed at 5:00am.

I’m very disappointed with this nightclub tbh.

Dreadful service!! After waiting for almost an hour - it was’nt even that busy - and watching other customers orders arriving whilst we where left waiting, we finally cancelled or order. Not even so much as an apology was offered. Such a shame, because the location is courgeous. But the staff an absolute nightmare. Will never go there again!

Bullshit events that advertise it’s free but once you get there they tell you to pay and pretend like the event they advertised doesn’t exist even when you show them the event. delusional staff that lies and treats customers like absolute shit. Should of made this review a long time ago but after another attempt of enjoying to Coalition I can now say that this is the worst club I have ever been to (and I have been to a lot of bad ones)! Bouncers are rude, aggressive and do not treat their customers like humans. Customers are treated like the dirt on their shoe after paying a lot of money on entrance. From what I have seen the aggression usually seems unnecessary other than that the bouncers have authority over the customer. This was shown when I was kicked out of the club just before I was about to leave with my friends, I was left outside and was not able to get my jacket or let any of my friends know where I was which put me in a vulnerable situation. If I was that drunk and they were considerate they would have let me find my friend who would have take me home safely rather than leave me by the sea alone... On a more lighthearted but ridiculous note I have also been told to stop singing in the queue for the club who play really loud music (there are no residents close by incase my voice was louder than their sound system).....

Shite. Would not recommend to anyone. Been there twice and each experience was as poor as the last. At least their consistent though...Oh yeh and the owner is an ass hole, so he doesn't deserve your money.

On Friday nights this place is inadequate.

The venue is clearly crammed beyond capacity. You are pushed up against people at all times; you cannot even move your arms. How are you supposed to dance like this? You accidentally touch people and get death stares from heteronormative chavs.



Drinks are very cheap if staff can get the order right. Guy at the bar pours vodka into a glass instead of rum. Proceeds to take the ice cubes out with his hands and pours the spirit back into the bottle. 3 doubles and not even drunk leads me to suspect whether the alcohol is watered down to compensate for the low price.



Poor girl at the cloakroom commented on how she has asked management for more hangers to compensate for more coats but she hasn't got them. Queue to put coat here was 20 minutes as she was by herself.



The venue overall is really cool, lighting is good and playlist was legit. Just needs better management than the kind that will undoubtedly passive-aggressively reply to this review!

Not a very good experience ordered two gin & tonics! Came out with soda water and gin was not a full measure.

Then order a Long Island iced tea & £8 each. Coke was flat and again it was weak!!



Was told we were going to a big wait for our food, but after sending out second ordered drinks back the food arrived!



We ordered water as they seriously can’t get that wrong.



Kudos to the new chef his food was good, although lacked basic presentation... in fact that is apparent all through our experience, but the place looks great...



Never judge a book by its cover...



If you order drinks here, by the bottles... stay clear of the spirits!



Very Disappointing!!

Never in my life have I been told in a club/bar/pub that I wasn’t allowed a slice of Lime in my bloody Corona because the ‘upper management’ said it’s ‘just for cocktails’. Except in Coalition. Fuck off.

Also, I watched people getting kicked out left, right and centre; given how empty the club was on a Saturday night, can you really afford to kick so many people out? As I waited to go in, a guy was told ‘not today mate, your eyes are all over the show’, yet 5 mins later I saw him inside so clearly he proved he was capable of behaving despite the door staff enacting their God-Complex attitude.

Mediocre food, drinks not as advertised, service terrible, cheap plastic single use cutlery breaks while you are trying to use it. Wouldn’t go back. Plenty of other places to try...

Lovely setting. Terrible service. Asked twice to be served. 15 minutes and still no drink. Waitress running around with no ids what they were doing. I left and went somewhere else

Looks beautiful but staff are atrocious!

6 members of staff outside and people were leaving as they hadn’t been served as the staff were all chatting with their mates!

Will not return!

I’ll give it one star for its location only. Took 25 minutes for drinks to arrive, ordered nachos at same time which we didn’t get at all. Left after an hour, still no nachos, which they tried to charge us for! Oh and when we (stupidly) tried to order second drinks, we were told bar was shutting to restock! This on Saturday lunchtime!!!! Very very poor!!

Fucking shit, they take a picture to me and my friends and we ask where we could see and the photographer said to us that we could see here in facebook but never they put the pictures of this day.

The entry cost 7£ and the goalkeepers of the party said to me that closed at 6 am or more late, it was a lie the club closed at 5:00am.

I’m very disappointed with this nightclub tbh.

Dreadful service!! After waiting for almost an hour - it was’nt even that busy - and watching other customers orders arriving whilst we where left waiting, we finally cancelled or order. Not even so much as an apology was offered. Such a shame, because the location is courgeous. But the staff an absolute nightmare. Will never go there again!

Bullshit events that advertise it’s free but once you get there they tell you to pay and pretend like the event they advertised doesn’t exist even when you show them the event. delusional staff that lies and treats customers like absolute shit. Over priced entrance fees for a trash club. Complete scam and extremely homophobic. SCAM SCAM SCAM
