Hello, we are 'CBM' (COLD BLOODED MOVEMENTS). We are FULLY insured DEFRA Type2 Animal Transportation Reptile Couriers.

AS REPTILE COURIERS. . . . .

We are FULLY Insured and DEFRA type 2 Authorised. . . . .

We have MINIMAL SIGNAGE on the van, enough to conform to DEFRA requirements but small enough for both yours and our discretion so as not to draw attention to the fact we are carrying reptiles, or that you keep them - we know what neighbours are like ;-)

We aim to take the stress out of buying, selling and transporting your cold blooded animals, with a fully thermostatically controlled and monitored vehicle with back up batteries and cooling fans in summer. With total commitment to the health and welfare of your animals, and the animals being cared for as if they were are own! !

*Each individual animals needs cared for. . . .
*Minimal van signage to comply with DEFRA legislation
*No animals left in van over night unattended
*Everything is run on pulse stats directly off van battery with leisure battery back up
*Digital temp display in cab
*Everything F10'd and after every trip we put a hot shot (high strength bug strip) in the van until 2 days before next run and air it out
*Every animal is fully insured whilst in our care
*DEFRA type 2 authorised
*Regular welfare checks / temp checks
*Experienced reptile keepers

Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to transport animals from previously arranged destinations ONLY which canŌĆÖt be changed once in transit.

2. Please ensure that there will be someone at both collection and delivery points, this is your responsibility, if we are within the time slot and nobody is available we will NOT wait.

3. We accept responsibility of keeping both buyer and seller informed of any delays at the earliest point we can.

4. We will have an 'in transit' log sheet on board at all times, which consists of temperature logs, welfare checks performed on animals and any other occurrences, this is for our back-up, your piece of mind and conforms with DEFRA legislation.

5. We reserve the right to refuse an animal on health grounds at which point a refund will NOT be issued.

6. We are not liable for any pre-existing health issues and we will not accept animals that are substandard under any circumstances.

7. Cancellation.

If you no longer require your animal to be transported you must inform us immediately and within 1 week of collection date to receive a refund of any sums paid over the ┬Ż20 non-refundable deposit.

8. We require Postmortems to be carried out if an unexplained fatality occurs.


9. ALL BOOKINGS ARE ONLY CONFIRMED ONCE A MINIMUM ┬Ż20 **NON-REFUNDABLE** DEPOSIT AND FULL ADDRESS DETAILS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.

Just a quick message to let you all know that we will be back up and running properly from the August run which will begin on the 6th.
Unfortunately we cannot move any larger snakes for the foreseeable future until my back is back to normal as IŌĆÖm unable to lift them and therefore unable to care for them properly whilst theyŌĆÖre with me. Apologies for the inconvenience.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that took the time to wish me well when I had the accident and I look forward to seeing you all soon. ­¤śü­¤śü

IŌĆÖm home from the hospital now and will chill and relax today. IŌĆÖve been told that IŌĆÖm not allowed to drive for at least 6 weeks which obviously causes issues for the June run. I will be in touch with everyone that has booked onto the run over the next couple of days with a possible solution and we can all take it from there. Sorry for any inconvenience that I know this may cause. ­¤Öü­¤Öü

Thanks for all of your messages of concern for Stu. Unfortunately heŌĆÖs not going to be up and about for a while. This happened early yesterday morning and we realise there have been quite a few messages through the page that Stu has yet been unable to answer. WeŌĆÖre not sure yet how long he will be in hospital for, but once heŌĆÖs home and able to we will reply to all your messages and let you all know what the plan will be for the next run, hope you all understand. We are only going to be able to collect and deliver from tables I am afraid... or if you are there the night before we can arrange to meet at a local hotel (hotel to be confirmed) We CANNOT and WILL NOT meet in the cafe opposite or anywhere outside.... if you need something and don't have a table I am sure you will know someone that will have one. We are re-instating BOA movements as of now..... After around 9mnths of thought and non movement we feel that everyone knows enough about the situation now. We will be dedicating one of our 3 compartments to Boas only to put other customers of other species minds at rest :-) HAPPY HERPING

couldn't be happier with CBM, there spot on, I have used other reptile couriers in the past and never come across anyone thats better, I will be using you guys from now on, my dragons arrived little over warm, and not stone cold which I liked a lot, they gave me time slots, and the courier guy 20mins before he actually got here to say he will be here, and was well within the time slot given, also when he arrived he was polite, 5* company recommended, have my business next year :D

I'm hoping to get transport from this company for an adult sailfin lizard - Essex to Wales by the end of this week. Does anyone know if they can do short notice things like this please? Hubby passed away and this lovely guy needs to be transported to experienced folk asap.

I have just recieved my 2 boa constrictors tonight all the way up in scotland, Stu was great when it came to communication we recieved numerous messeges throughout the day with updates on when they will get here, even though they were a little late with the bad weather and traffic which he was very apologetic. The animals were well looked after and you can tell they are kept in a temperature controlled environment...will more than likely see alot more of stu haha, also when i was checking on the snakes he was on the floor playing with the dogs so you can tell he has a passion for animals which is nice to see rather than here is your pets give me your money and leave...great job definitely recommend using his services

I have been using Cold Blooded movements for absolutely years now. I have used other couriers too so I can compare. Cold Blooded win hands down all the other couriers on service and their care. The animals are SO well cared for. If they're on the road for a long time because they're travelling a long way, they'll be fed and cleaned. Cold Blooded are so courteous and helpful - they will do their utmost to give you a time slot that works best for you. When they are close by they also send you a text to let you know they're about to arrive. They arrive when they say they're going to arrive. They don't go changing your time slot at the last minute leaving you in the lurch. These guys are the best! They really are. I had another delivery 3 days ago and once again a sterling service! I will rave about their service because customer feedback says it all!
