About Communicate-Ed

We specialise in the provision of high quality, accessible training for education professionals who work in the area of special needs.

Communicate-Ed Description

At Communicate-ed we are passionate about seeing people developed to their true potential. That passion drives our own training portfolio, but also extends beyond to many, other situations and nations.

Our reputation has been built upon our courses dealing with Examination Access Arrangements. We also offer a range of other modules providing training in various aspects of special educational need. All of our courses are available online and we also offer face to face training in venues round the country. In addition to the courses which we host ourselves, our expert course tutors are available to run tailor-made courses for schools, colleges, local authorities or support services.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who booked into our DRA3/ART3 webinar on Wednesday. In place of a course fee, attendees all donated to a project supplying hot meals to NHS workers. We also received a generous donation from the publisher Hodder Education, and Communicate-ed/Include-ed match funded all donations received. We are so pleased to report that yesterday we sent £3,887.50 to the project. https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/fe ednhs

It's that time of year again! From now until the end of term, the JCQ will be visiting schools and colleges. The JCQ documentation makes clear that one of the things they will be asking for is evidence of the content of training that has been provided for Exam Invigilators and Access Arrangement Facilitators. The good news is that Communicate-ed can provide simple and flexible training for those support staff.
Whether you run your own training or want to take advantage of one of our online courses, we have updated our top tips for training Invigilators in 2020, so take a look and see if we can save you some last minute stress! https://www.communicate-ed.org.uk/…/5-t ips-for-training-exa…

After our series of well received and attended Examination Access Arrangements Update/Refresher courses, now comes the opportunity for colleagues new to these regulations to gain the knowledge they need. That starts this Friday in North Yorkshire with a course led by Lia Castiglione, in partnership with YES at Richmond School. Then on November 7th Caroline Read and Lia will be running the training together once again in London.
