To see From the Jam, two nights in a row - always friendly staff, enjoyed myself, no trouble. Barrier staff a little bit officious and thought nothing of standing in front of me and others during the concert, otherwise a friendly guy handing out bottles of water to those at the front caught up in the mosh pit. Atmosphere in Concorde 2 is incredible during gigs because of the relatively narrow venue which is long lengthwise, really recommend it.

User

Security Staff often get a bad name at many live music venues, but I just wanted to give feedback on how good a job the 2 people at the front of the stage at the recent Don Broco gig did in catching the multiple crowd surfers, thus protecting them and the other people in the crowd from any form of injury. Rather than trying to stop the surfers, they were allowing them to enjoy the gig as they wished - great job guys :-)

User

Love the atmosphere and the vibe, shame the bands have to finish so early………maybe once in a while they can play late and not have the stuff on after

User

I saw Ty Segall there last night , it’s a great venue for small gigs and the staff were friendly and helpful . The only downside was the toilets , they are too small

Saw Brothers Osborne good sound, good venue, only marred by a member of staff pushing past my wife, who’d had a shoulder op last week, everyone else passed by politely, giving her time to move, but this one , a tall lad with blondish hair, just pushed her out the way, when she cried out in pain he rudely asked if he’d hurt her, then carrried on without any form of apology.. ..prat!! Sadly we wont be going back!

User

Was going to see Beth ditto. Have seen her before and she was amazing. But sadly the disabled assistance was a seat which other people thought was ok to stand in front . No supervision of the disabled seating . So left the venue with the blocking of the view and bumping in to you. When your perched on a stool wasn’t that safe. It a shame no area for disabled to enjoy the gig. So left and therefore wasted my money on the tickets. Have complained due this and the security telling us to move out of the bar area which we had been allowed to do by one of the staff. He was rude. So whole experience was disappointing. Disabled access should really mean an area where they can watch the gig in peace. There was an area they could have done this and also supervise it .but sadly Concorde don’t this. So don’t think we will be going there again

User

Trevor Nelson was awesome as usual but the venue completely lets the place down.

The Concorde really puts on some really good acts. But the venue itself really let the gigs down as it is so old school and old-fashioned for all the wrong reasons.

The layout of the place is all wrong if you are at the back it bad and if you are the front it bad. The layout long and thin is a gig's nightmare.

One entrance in and out and people moving back and forth is a major frustration of everyone being constantly bothered by people moving in and out and visiting the bar at the back of the already awkward shaped dark space and therefore is in a bad space.

Lack of air conditioning and only a side door open adds to this uncomfortable venue experience.

Please, please take note of our cry for you to take an interest of this poor excuse for a venue today.

User

Superb venue but poorly run. Been twice now to Trance nights. Venue was meant to shut at 5am but on both occasions shut at 4am. Not good when your first train leaves Brighton at 5.25am. For Aly & Fila the Place was rocking and busy - club then turned off the music when Fadi was starting his last hour of his 6 hour set. We all got chucked out. Not fun when the weather is Freezing cold and nowhere to go. Lots of very unhappy people due to an abrupt end.
