Well, what a fantastic restaurant. We often do takeaway from here, but have eaten in once. Both experiences are very similar. However, on our most recent visit, we called ahead with a particularly large order. I was impressed that the order was read back immediately with zero mistakes and priced up in the same time. Upon arrival to collect, the staff were very polite indeed and nothing is too hard for them. More importantly, the food is absolutely delicious. We always buy a huge selection of food to share with the family and every dish is a hit. Thank you for your fantastic service and great food!

We went for a family meal here and i can’t rate it enough!! the food was Devine, so fresh and the staff were extremely helpful!!! I have recommended to quite a few of my friends and will definitely be going back!!

Visited without making a booking last Friday evening after work. Two mains, a rice and a side. Delicious dinner for two (mum & I) despite some reservations following a recent takeover. Staff were welcoming & polite and considerate yet not overbearing.

Will definitely be back soon.

This is simply the best Indian restaurant around. Since it opened in 1982 it has always been a great place to eat but since changing management several months ago it has become even better. My husband is gluten intolerant and he can enjoy a fantastic meal here too. Well done Cove Tandoori and thank you. We look forward to seeing you on Christmas Eve to celebrate our wedding anniversary as we have done every year for the past 7 xx

The food and flavours are phenomenal! I will be recommending Cove Tandoori to my friends. I said to my boyfriend that the garlic chilli chicken is possibly the best curry I've ever had. Thank you for being so welcoming �

New owners are extremely polite and friendly nothing is too much trouble, have been going here for years, so was a bit worried when it was taken over but there was no need to be as it is fantastic as are the staff and new owners. Food is always fresh and tasty. Well worth a visit

Lovely food very fresh curries packed with flavour! Chips were lovely makes a change from other places ,where they have been swimming in oil, good portion size and reasonable prices, we had it delivered and was told would be with us in the hour but 10 mins later it was with us piping hot delicious ,well done guys we will defenfly be ordering again thanks

If you are looking for a good curry (both eat in and takeaway) then this is the place. Excellent quality food and service impeccable. Stopped using last year but decided to give another go now under new management and would never go anywhere else. Honestly treat yourself you won't be disappointed,

I'm very fussy when it comes to currys and I've tried many in the quest to find a good one, so I would really recommend this restaurant, the new decor looks great. The food is absolutely amazing now it's under new management, what I call a clean curry and the staff are very polite. - Found my new favourite curry house. �

I took my sons to celebrate an 18th Birthday tonight and the food was the very best that we have tasted and the service was first class. I have been going to this restaurant for years but since new management has taken over, it is even better and the bill was a lot less than expected! There is a lovely atmosphere and I would definitely recommend this restaurant. We shall be going more frequently.

Been going here for years with the previous owner and have tried it with the new owners and have loved it all over again. Recommend this to everyone. Food has always been hot and full of flavour.

Ordered a takeaway tonight, food was lovely as always however prices have gone up, 1 starter, 4 mains and 3 sides = £82...... £16.90 for a king prawn masala which contained 4 prawns is just disgusting! I really think you guys need to review your new pricing as we certainly won’t be paying this much for a simple takeaway moving forward...

It pains me to say this - but there is a a fine line between value for money and paying too much for what you get.

I feel we have just stepped over it.

£117 for 2 kids and 2 adults. And it was just main courses and sundries. Ok We spent £20 on booze, but when a prawn korma costs 10.40 - it’s too much. £14 for a monkfish shashlik - and it was just not very nice. When sundries cost almost a fiver and rice at almost £4 - it’s too much. Before the price rise I could feed 6 of us on the same price as for 4 just now.

Sorry - it’s good, but not that good
