As a family-owned company with a long heritage of helping and supporting those who are experiencing bereavement, we understand that everyone is an individual. That’s why we focus on providing a truly personalised, caring and quality service and take pride in maintaining the highest of professional standards.
In fact, we’ve been helping families with funeral arrangements for generations now, so no-one understands better than us what a distressing and difficult time it can be for those left behind. The world around us may have altered dramatically since our earliest roots over 300 years ago, but what hasn’t changed is our commitment to being here every step of the way for the bereaved in our communities when they need us the most.

The reality TV star, George Shelly tackled the taboo around these topics in his documentary 'Learning to Grieve'. It's a very moving piece and something that we chose to write a blog on to help you support those who are grieving.

Every experience of grief is different. The same can be said of the role work can play after a bereavement. Going back to work as soon as possible following the death of a loved one, for some, provides a welcome distraction from overwhelming thoughts and emotions.
