superb milkshake and waffles in an amazing building, memorable time. cannot wait for the next visit .open late enough to have a dessert after a meal out and better value than a restaurant dessert.
It was great and the staff are so friendly will be going back there again
Amazing, wanted it all lol, I had the Rocher Waffle and it's was just scrummy, I do prefer the pancakes but that's cos I just love pancakes and they are my favourite pudding, just so much to choose from, I would recommend going when ur hungry as it's huge portion
17 of us went today and the service was great, friendly staff and great with the kids and the big kids. Puddings were amazing great value
Walked into Creams Brighton today after our friends who were with us told us fabulous things about the Worcester Creams near them. We arrived around 1:30pm to find most available tables were full of uncleared plates. There was no one to greet or sit us so we made our way to a booth, cleared it ourselves, wiped the table and sat down. We were then visited by a young female member of staff (not Dominica who served us) and was told in a very haughty tone with narrowed eyes βexcuse me, next time you come here please wait for us to seat you and give us chance to clear a table rather than sitting yourselves!β. Well excuse us for trying to be helpful you ungrateful young lady! Before I had to chance to answer she stormed off away from us. If my son hadnβt have been desperate to try the food Iβd have walked out there and then. Thankfully the other server Dominica was friendly and polite and made up for her colleagues rudeness. Will we visit again? Most likely not. What a shame.
Walked in and stood at the waiting station for 5 minutes unseen, so took menus and sat ourselves. The place was dirty and all the staff looked miserable. It took half an hour for a coke float, cookie dough and waffle - at the time we ordered there were 3 other tables..
no toilet roll in the toilets and they were dirty too. Made to feel very uncomfortable and on edge - unwanted. Staff need a review
Very disappointed with the ice cream sundae. It had 1 instead of 2 scoops of the cherry amarena and no white chocolate shavings on top as described. It was also banged down on the table like I was inconveniencing the server!
When I reported this to the manager, I was offered a coffee as compensation but too wary to accept in case the server took revenge!!!
Staff quite rude, bit expensive, probably wouldn't bother again
Nice ice creams but a bit spendy and menu sooo complicated. Kids loved it though so maybe itβs just me!
Lovely place x went for my daughters birthday x delicious but far too big portions x couldn't possibly eat it all so was a little bit of a waste of money x but if you have a massive appetite it's great
Ridiculously over priced for what it is, had a lot better else where. The chocolateer is 2 scoops of ice cream with a little sauce in a sundae cup for Β£6.95!!!! And tasted more like the one described on the menu below the one I picked, very disappointing birthday treat!
First visit today and actually pretty let down.. awful customer service, server was rude, apart from one female worker. The food was OK but I've had better and for cheaper! .. the toilets where absolutely vile .. won't be returning! ALSO! Cutlery & jugs of water where filthy.. about 8 people working.. plates etc left on tables, napkins on the floor .... just bad
Expensive for why you get and the plain crepes werenβt good at all. I wouldnβt go back
We travelled to Brighton yesterday and one of the plans was to stop in Creams asa small birthday treat... sat in one of the booths, waited 10 minutes for someone to clean the tables (previous occupants cups and jugs etc with food on table) no service so found the spray and cloth from cleaning area and did it myself. Wife went to bar to place order - 3 milkshakes, 1 waffle concoction and 2 ice creams. Girl behind bar aggressively chewing gum, talking around it - staff were struggling with orders and very rushed. The cafe was full but not queuing out the door - said it would be about 15 minutes delay on orders. Sat down, no drinks arrived - 45 minutes later drinks came with ice cream and waffles - bad service - milkshakes were very milky considering they were supposed to be made with ice cream, tasted like long life milk to me. I had the Rocher Sundae and the Rocher's were stale... very old tasting. Lots of people were sending orders back either because they were wrong or problems with them. Did it once, won be doing it again... over-priced ice cream and you get more flavour from a tub of ben and jerry without the hassle
Was seated and given a menu. Lady took our order. Waited half hour then decided to go up to the counter to ask where our ice creams were.
To find out our order wasn't registered!
The staff were rude and asked us "why are you here" we told them we wanted ice creams. Rudely they told us to sit down and then out ice creams arrived without an apology.
Ordered a Raspberry and While Chocolate Royal, all I got was ice cream and a little bit of Raspberry sauce. When i mentioned it all I got was 4 raspberries... Apparently everything was 'hidden underneath'.
My friends and I are regular creams vistors in multiple stores and we've always had a positive experience. After visiting creams Brighton today this was not the case however I do not feel this review is not specific to Brighton but Creams Cafe in general. Because I am a regular I have downloaded the creams cafe loyalty app whereby your can collect points to win gifts. This was the first time me using the app. When buying my sundae I asked the creams staff if I could collect points using my app which is done by scanning my id barcode (on the app). However, the staff told me that they've been given very little information in regards to the app. They had no facility on the cashier to scan the barcode and were only informed how to redeem gifts. Why has creams introduced a points scheme that doesn't work! I was therefore unable to collect any points
Hi,
The waitress came over to our table and took our order.
We waited 30 minutes for an ice cream, so we decided to ask a member of staff what was going on.
When we went up to the counter, we were informed that our order had not been put through! Basically we had been sitting at our table waiting for no reason!
One of the staff members then asked why we were here.
We explained that we wanted an ice cream and had been waiting 30 minutes!
Eventually out ice cream arrived. It was plonked down in front of us with no apology.
We were both disgusted at the complete lack of customer service. The staff made a big mistake and were very rude.
We will not be coming back to Creams again, and will be encouraging everyone we know to avoid you at all costs.
I wish we had left after 30 minutes because I lament having to give you any money.
Regards,
Hayley Armstrong
Awful customer service! We ordered and paid at the till and ended up waiting ages, after half hour i asked if we could have our drinks as it was so hot in there! No air con or anything! And waited another half hour before getting food! It wasnt even busy, only a couple of people in there so no excuse really!
