Welcome to the Sudbury Hill 'Power Hour'!!
An energetic and interactive session where our fitness team took members through their paces, introducing them to a variety of new exercises and exposing them to quick fire PT. Keep an eye out for more sessions this summer!

Good gym but reduced hours for the outdoor pool mean I can no longer use it before work - which was one of the main reasons for joining - very disappointing - hence the three stars

Showers always dirty, mold on ceiling plastic bags all over a floor , sauna cheap electric with broken thermostat and with mold on outside of wooden frame of door

Rusty equipment, regularly broken machines taking weeks to repair, completely wasted space on the top floor where the old cycle studio was, cardio machines where the touch screen doesn't work properly - you try pressing one key n it changes something completely.



I've been a member here since 2008, the club claim to have made £875k of investment in the last year or so which I think is rubbish! Members want facilities and equipment upgraded.

Every week the talk amongst members in the steam & sauna rooms is that the state of the club has gone downhill in recent years. Many members have complained just to be told by mgmt that the feedback will be passed on to head office but nothing is ever done about it.



I think the fact there isn't another decent fitness club in the local area allows David Lloyd Sudbury Hill to be complacent that members will keep coming in and neglect the poor equipment in the gym.

Please becaurfor when yours contract is finish. On this side (website)they write you have a month to finish but really you need to pay 3 month more.

Just spent some lovely, relaxing, carefree hours by the lovely pool - then verbally attacked and not left alone by a pushy receptionist called "tracy" because I didn't want to fill in a feedback request form! Will not be joining!!!! Such a shame the staff do not reflect the actual gym.

Its one year that me and my partner are member of this club , yesterday we left our Headset (Beats) in Gym area , we couldnt find it when we came back for it ! Knowing that its ourself responsibility to care for our belongings but looks Some one took it and reception team refused to check the cameras ! That was bad , and not a cooperation ! and we have no more good feeling to go there ! We are going to cancel our membership as we dont feel secure there .

David Lloyd is understaffed. The kitchen is barely open and there are not enough lifeguards for the outdoor pool to be open in summer.

Waited ages for our cheese toastie with crudités. And we got non toasted cheese with old cold veggies. Bad

Resturant terrible very rude staff after eating my Dinner and finding brown hairs in soup wasnt refunded resturant woman name on her badge was to busy with cheff and the other girl rushed of her feet

The resturant useto be good bring back the old staff

Racist managment

David Lloyds employees are not fully trained, they tend to have a lot of aggression and speak very rude. When I tried to make changes to my membership I was given excuses by excuses. David Lloyds is not organized at all. They need to sort this out asap

Careful! of any offer from this branch in Sudbury Hill. I received an email offering me 14 days trial. But the sale manager was not interested in getting back to me. I went on-site, the staff asked me to go back home to fill out the form online. So back home, I sent the online form and the James the manager motivated to get his sell commision sent a reply very quickly. When I replied again asking more questions about the 14 days trial. The manager of David Lloyd Sudbury Hill realised it was about a trail, and he did not come back to me, even from my phone call. In the end, I was not very happy and upset. I sent another email to the sale manager James telling him that was a scam! James H, the sale manager, came back to me 3 hours after sending him my unpleasant email.

He said " BECAUSE OF YOUR BEHAVIOR YOU ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE TRIAL " My advise, be extremely careful when you deal with David Lloyds, especial if you want to become a member make sure you understand their terms and condition.
