Just to say with next week being half term for Pre School, we are looking forward to catching up with the grass cutting, weeding, etc... so the jungle should be gone by the time they return, weather permitting of course.......... !!

Happy Easter folks.......just to let you peeps know, although Pre School are on holiday, the hall is still being hired by other regular groups, so don't be surprised if you see some cars and activities going on during this fortnight ............

Deverell Hall's AGM is due 13th March, 4.30pm in the upstairs room, general public are welcome.

DEVERELL HALL PRESCHOOL CLOSED on Friday 2nd March 2018 due to snow and adverse weather.

Just to say, with the "apparent snow on the way tomorrow and Friday, please know that some groups may have cancelled, thus please check with your group members before venturing out to the hall for your usual meetings ......!! take care and keep warm and safe peeps............

This was very kind of the Horndean & District Amateur Radio Club (HDARC) and really appreciated.

SUNDAY 26th November 2017 we have our Sovereign Military Supplies - Militaria Fair Swap Meet for Military Badges and Medals. Come and buy or sell any medals, badges or Military Memorabilia. Doors open to general public 10am to 1pm. All enquiries about this event should be addressed to the EVENT ORGANISER - namely Chris Brown of Sovereign Military Supplies.

BOOKING ENQUIRIES - Although the opening hours on this Facebook Page reflect the times the hall may be accessible, it does not mean that enquiries, phone calls and emails are handled up to 10pm at night. All emails are handled as quickly as possible, and phone calls etc are dealt with in an efficient and timely manner. The joys of being a volunteer :)

Well peeps, looks like finally some new doors may well be on the way as such.... still the dots to the i's and crosses to the t's ........to finish, but at least we are finally getting there.........whoop, whoop, this time next year!!! ;) ..hahahaa........... no, hopefully this time end of December we will have them..............fingers crossed .........

Hi there All, just to say cannot believe we are heading into November next week..Happy Halloweens to you all ..... but just to add that we are still ongoing with task of getting new doors and hopefully a porchway area at the main (side) door ....... which will be a huge relief to get sorted.

The hall is continuing to be so busy and enquiries all the time, so looks like Deverell Hall is very popular and positive feedback is always a plus eh! :)

Well Summer Holidays are disappearing, and now for many at Deverell Hall it is all back to normal. Our hall is always busy, and there have been several changes and improvements during the quieter few weeks in August.

Update for the last few weeks, grass cutting done, prickles and trees in back car park area chopped down, touching up of painting in main hall and back room areas now being done this week, cannot believe another Summer holiday time is almost over, but we look forward to the Hall being back to it's full capacity of hirers.......... and hope you all enjoyed a few weeks of rest and sunshine!!

Nearly every few days we receive email enquiries for Bookings. If you don't get an immediate reply please be patient - all genuine enquiries are dealt with!

So pleased that the Deverell Hall Pre - School have got their lovely signage up at last.......looks amazing and hopefully will promote this wonderful pre school and the lovely professional staff that all do an outstanding job.

At the moment, is very hot everywhere, and certainly the heat today has been quite unbearable for our Preschool children and staff (and us all).
Extra fans have been put into the hall to help, but for the next few days we advise all groups to keep curtains closed, and doors shut. Whilst it might seem "useful" to open doors, this only helps to draw in more heat from the outside.
If any group wishes to cancel their scheduled booking(s) due to heat or for Health and Safety reasons (in the case of young or old people who are more vulnerable to heat and cold) then please feel free to do so, and just let us know so we can amend the booking for your group.

The hall was very clean, warm and well equipped each week.

Would definitely use again

Had our children's party here again , was clean and spot on for what we were looking for .. can't recommend enough , Doug is very helpful and makes sure everything runs smoothly �

Great size hall and excellent facilities. Everything we needed for our Sons Christening where we had approx. 60 adults and 30 kids!! Doug and his wife are very friendly, professional and helpful. I will definitely be hiring this hall again for our next occasion.

Excellent hall and comunication with Doug. We had a disco this weekend, really flexible for any extras we needed. Highly recommended 😁
