We live in Woodley so we can walk to this Country Park, walking, running cycling around the various lakes is really replaxing and having the cafe to stop for a tea, and maybe some cake, is a bonus. We will miss this when we move from the area

User

This place is fantastic but sadly the only thing that let’s it down is the prices in the cafe it’s only hurst not London or Henley, how they can charge £7 for a jacket potato or sandwich is just ridiculous

User

Such a beautiful and well kept place. Plenty to do for all ages. Dog walks, awesome play park and excellent food surrounded by masses of space to run and play! Highly recommend a visit!

User

My son and I had a great time. We took his bike and went round the lake twice. It's very clean and tidy, and the park area is amazing.

This is definitely a place to go with the kids. The prices to park are reasonable too, £6 for all day.

User

It was fantastic to be able to take my dog into the caffe. There was about 5 very well behaved dogs. Let's hope we can always come in from the rain and cold. More business for the caffe.

User

I think it's a great place to chill out for all the family , the only downer is the car parking charges and the reason they put them up is cus more people are going there so they've put anther car park with more ticket machines

User

I popped into the office today to thank the staff that helped me last week . I had a fall in the park and Lucy and James came to the rescue and got me back to the car , they were really kind and waited with me until my daughter and grandson got back to the car ... It is good to know that help is on hand swiftly should you need it ... It is a lovely park to have so close to home ... Thank you Lucy and James , much appreciated xx

User

Beautiful place, full of open space, wildlife! You can really feel atmosphere of countryside here! Cycled there today around the lakes and in the Park! Highly recommend! You can also hire a canoe over there! I came from Winnersh Triangle station so did not have to pay a car park fee, so save some money and jump on the bike!!!

User

A really great place to walk whether you have a dog or not. One walk around the lake takes roughly an hour, but there are many different paths you can take - sunshine or shade, your choice.

User

The park is a great place to go for a day out. We walked around the lake yesterday. I liked getting out after being stuck in during the snow and cold weather. One of the Egyptian geese was acting strange Sunday. Stumbling in circles. It ended up sitting in the weeds near where everyone feeds the birds. Does anyone know what happened to it? We reported it to the rangers but don't know if they found it or did anything about it.

User

My daughter had previously visited this park and told me how nice it was . Last weekend we fancied a day out not too far from home (Swindon the reading ) and went to Dinton park . Compared to some parks I have been too the fee was a little high, It then you walk round and think to yourself all these lovely places have to be maintained for us to enjoy .but for families wanting to book a boat out for eg. Could prove to,be quite an expensive day out . Just my husband and youngest daughter visited the park to see what it was like for a possible revisit in the school holidays with all the grandchildren ..as someone else made a comment about bins for rubbish ..I agree..we all had ice creams/ lollies . Fingers were left sticky because no bins to,put rubbish in ..so if there was a bin ..we did not find it until back into the carpark and used the toilet and washed our hands after disposing of the lolly paper . DiNTON PARK ..we will be back ...

User

Lovely place to visit, great for the kids and parents too,car park very expensive and not much of it. There are no bins for rubbish which is quite a let down.

User

It's a lovely place to visited. Lots of space for children & dogs to run around. It has a really nice eating area outside and very clean cosy place inside. Good menu and pleasant service. The rest area is excellent. Parking charges I felt was a little high and there isn't a great amount of space for it. That being said a place worth visiting

User

I love Dinton and visit most days, however they seriously need more dog poo bins/ bins in general. There’s so many poo bags being chucked in bushes and trees (which I agree is wrong) but perhaps having somewhere to dispose of them would help.

There are areas of the park where you can walk for ages with no bins. Perhaps more around the lake, main areas with high traffic and the entrances to the old golf course would be beneficial.

Granted bins cost money but seeing as dog owners pay (including during the winter when no one else is there) money for the car parks ... the same as everyone else perhaps some investment should be made here instead of it always being invested in things like the play parks, a mini golf course and a zip wire which all appeals to your holiday and weekend users. It seems you only wish to invest in families with children and not other users of the park who are also regular and loyal visitors. Please please add more bins! You’ll make a lot of dog owners (and other people who don’t want to see all these bags chucked in trees) very happy!

Just an idea for moving forward!

User

A lovely place to visit especially when the sun is shining, a lovely walk around the lake and a big play area for the kids to burn off energy, also plenty of space for picnics

User

A great place for the kids to run around, play and have fun. Everything a family could ask for. Swings, slides, climbing equipment, lake for a walk, pretty much everthing children could need.

Always a queue for the cafe but you get use to it!

User

I have enjoyed the walks here, (more bins are needed) unfortunately receiving a parking ticket has put me and the friends i walk with off. We all bought car parking tickets, walked the dogs and used the cafe facilities but unfortunately we all over ran on our times, not realising this, we received parking tickets. I am unsure how others would feel with trying to support places like this and getting parking tickets, its wrong, especially when we all bought car park tickets. Very disappointed.

User

Great park for strolling with family and friends with beautiful lakes and wildlife activity. BUT parking was a nightmare we went on 17 Feb 2018 about 1.30 in the afternoon. Two car parks were full, we had to drive around then gave up and drove down a long lane where we happened to find another car park. The car parks are full with deep pot holes paying these prices to park ie. £3 for 2 hours deserves a decent hard surface to park on.

User

we wanted to spend a nice Sunday afternoon in nature. Unfortunately that place has nothing to do with nature anymore. Annoyed already about the expensive car park fee, I was completely shocked about the horrible music over loud speaker and the pure rip off with that boat business. Even if you want to swim in a lake, you can only do this in a herd like sheep and have to pay for it. Bad, very bad. Not to recommend

Fingers were left sticky because no bins to,put rubbish in ..so if there was a bin ..we did not find it until back into the carpark and used the toilet and washed our hands after disposing of the lolly paper . DiNTON PARK ..we will be back ...

Lovely place to visit, great for the kids and parents too,car park very expensive and not much of it. There are no bins for rubbish which is quite a let down.

A lovely place to visit especially when the sun is shining, a lovely walk around the lake and a big play area for the kids to burn off energy, also plenty of space for picnics

A great place for the kids to run around, play and have fun. Everything a family could ask for. Swings, slides, climbing equipment, lake for a walk, pretty much everthing children could need.

Always a queue for the cafe but you get use to it!

£3 for 2 hours deserves a decent hard surface to park on.

we wanted to spend a nice Sunday afternoon in nature.
