Nissan 200sx S13 we had in the other week.
Came in due to the water pump leaking.
So new full timing belt kit, water pump and also threw in a new thermostat for safe measures!
... Whilst stripping the job down... whoever had previously done the cambelt (which had previously just been replaced) hadn't tightened the bottom crankshaft pulley to the correct torque settings... 🤦🏼‍♂️
Unfortunately because of this, bottom pulley was damaged and also the woodruff key on the crankshaft... So this had to be addressed also.
Another bottom pulley and woodruff key also and she's back on the road 👍🏻

Nissan Skyline R33 GTR we had in recently.
Recently purchased by a good regular customer and booked in for a full vehicle inspection just to make sure everything is all up together and road worthy! 🔍
On the inspection we found that one of the aftermarket adjustable suspension coilover shocks had a damaged seal causing a loss of oil and causing a knocking noise whilst driving...
... And one of the original hard fuel lines had a slight seepage of fuel so this needed attending to also.
Brand new set of 'Meister R' fully adjustable suspension coilovers fitted and fully set up correctly and a new hard fuel line made up to prevent a serious fuel leak!
She's now good for a blast!

Another nice one we had in this week!

Exhaust manifold upgrade including new braided turbo feed lines and an oil leak sorted on the oil return pipe.
... Also an uprated 6 puck, sprung paddle 'Competition Clutch' and flywheel fitted!

BMW E34 5 Series.
Pre Mot inspection on this BMW which needed some work before going in for it's test...
Rear main subframe bushes had excessive movement and even had a dreadful knocking noise when driven... we replaced the standard bushes with some new 'PowerFlex' polythene life time warranty bushes!
... 3 patches of welding to the rear inner and outer sills which was alot easier whilst the rear axle was out of the vehicle, and a couple of brake pipes on the rear axle also... which once again... whilst it was out it was crazy not to!
Mot test... and a strait pass 👍🏻

Something a bit different we had in a little while ago...
'Toyota IQ' that got stolen and recovered in but unfortunately minus the key's for the vehicle...
These have keyless entry and start which makes it not so simple getting a replacement set of keys made up!
... Customer managed to get hold of a replacement key and ECU kit which also included various control modules, fuse boxes, steering lock, dash clocks, door locks and imobillizers etc which all needed to be installed for the car to run again...
Ended up having to dismantle the entire vehicle to carry out this job but got her running again... fresh 'Mot' and back on the road! 👍🏻

Converted my toyota supra from a stock 3l na to a twin turbo with a 1jz and full wiring conversion

Top workman ship picked up the car yesterday and it is awesome looks good sounds good goes good

highly recommended as I will be using for all my future servicing and engine work

This is an excellent garage! Martin is extremely capable at finding solutions to even the most complex problems with cars. My car is 21 years (almost 22 years) old and has gone almost 240k miles thanks to Martin’s hard work and skill. My car’s engine has been replaced twice over the years (most recently Dec 2017), the gearbox has been replaced and welding has been done to name some of the more significant work. All of these things have been done by Martin and have kept the car going. I can only thank Martin for this. I would be surprised if there was something about cars that he doesn’t know about! I recommend Dipsticks Garage and Martin Hughes as highly as possible :)
