Doorstep Entertainments

Today’s booking took us to Calmore and Laurel Care. We are regular visitors here and have made lots of friends. The Show went really well and everybody joined in singing. Following the show it was nice to catch up with Ted and Pearl and we really look forward to our chats with them. Thank you Shelley for your kind hospitality that you always give us. See you all in March x

Been working hard on a new Show today. A long day but productive. It’s nearly finished and is already shaping up into what should be a favourite with our audiences. Once the track is complete, rehearsals will start and costumes and props sorted. Really excited about this one. Further details shortly.....!!!🎶👍🏻

Today we were in Lyndhurst at SCIA Fenwick Day Centre. Again a lovely venue and we met some great people. There was also a visiting Day Centre there who had a lovely day out in the Forest. Thank you all for your kind hospitality and we hope you enjoyed our Entertainment. See you all in April and take care.

Monday we travelled out to Upton in Poole. This was further out then we would normally travel, but well worth the journey. We visited Waypoints and it was lovely to see all the residents and reminiscing with them was great. Lovely residents and staff and looking forward to a return visit soon.

Been over to Edenvale Care Home today to reminisce the 1950s. What a great morning and by the end of the morning everybody was rock n rolling. Thank you everyone for your lovely comments and we can't wait to return with another show in April. A bit of fun before the show in our first costume. X

Been a good couple of days for bookings which resulted in 7 new dates in the diary. This is great considering we only have limited availability for the rest of the year. We also could not accommodate a request for a Christmas date. Christmas season is already nearly fully booked and only a few dates left so if you do want to book us message for availability. 🎶😃

Our booking took us right down to Seaford today for a performance at Clifden Dementia Centre. It was great to see everybody enjoying themselves and Variety Showtime was just the right production. Lots of singing, dancing and laughing went on and it’s nice to be welcomed by the residents when we arrived. Look forward to seeing you all again soon and remember to keep singing.....🎼😀

What a lovely setting for today's booking in Burley. As we drove up the lane to Gorsewells we were met by these lovely ponies. A new venue and we loved reminiscing the 1950`s with the residents. Hope to visit again in the near future with another themed event. 🎶

We celebrated an 80th birthday last night with the lovely George. Taking George on a musical journey through the decades everybody enjoyed show and we had so much fun. The function was held at the Bugle Hotel in Titchfield and was nice to see the room full of all George’s friends and family. We hope you had a good time and once again Happy Birthday xxx

It was nice to be back at South Haven Lodge today. With a performance of Variety Showtime everybody was soon singing along to their favourite songs. We are always made so welcome at South Haven and there is a great family atmosphere whenever we perform. It’s lovely to chat to the residents after the show as well. We will see you all again soon and in the meantime take care and keep singing.....🎶🎤xxxxxx

We returned to Woodlands in Netley Marsh today and had a brilliant time. I can’t believe how many visitors were in today watching the Show with their loved ones. A great atmosphere right from the start and it was great to see the residents laughing and joining in. Looking forward to our next visit in May. 🎶👍🏻

We were at Bury Lodge yesterday and nice to see everybody. We performed the Golden Oldies Show which was a great choice of Show. Everybody joined in with the singing which brought back lots of memories and the party at the end of the show put lots of smiles on the faces of the residents. Thank you to Elaine for looking after us all with tea and biscuits and we will see you all again soon x

And another successful visit to Laurel Care Home today. Performing Variety Showtime the audience joined in with the singing and said how much they enjoyed the choice of music. We visited Vaudeville, Broadway, the End Of Pier Show and the West End. The finale to the show had everybody singing and partying to favourite Abba Songs as we paid tribute to Ma Ma Mia. Love seeing everybody laughing and smiling.🎶🎤

Had fun time at MERLIN Park today. The show went really well and it was lovely to see everyone joining in with the songs, comedy and dancing. By the end of the show everyone was joining in with our tribute to ABBA. So much fun 🎶🎶

Yesterday our visit to Lavender was lovely and we performed variety showtime. As usual the afternoon was a lot of fun and everyone joined in with the production. We look forward to our next visit in February x

Been to Shedfield Lodge today. Nice to see everybody and we had a great time. Performing Variety Showtime it was a good choice and went down well. Lovely to see everybody joining in and reminiscing. Thank you Mark for your hospitality and joining in with the residents. It was nice to hear how Christine joined in singing with I Believe especially knowing that she doesn’t normally sing. Abba was a great hit too and we left everybody in Party mood.🎉🎶

Well it was a great family party today for the lovely Joy who celebrated her 89th birthday. Performing Music Music Music, we took Joy on a musical journey through the decades. She especially loved the Music Hall Days and the whole family joined in with the nostalgia of the Show. We had a great time and were made very welcome. Thank you for your kind hospitality and once again Joy Happy Birthday to you. 🎶🎂🎉🥂
