Went last night for a family meal for my mum's birthday and everything was excellent. The service was great both by the bartender making our cocktails and our lovely server. The Sunday roasts were absolutely delicious and they even surprised my mum with a fantastic warm chocolate brownie with ice cream and a candle for her birthday too which was a very lovely and delicious suprise which we all dug in to!! Thanks all 🤗🍽🍹

We had a really amazing time yesterday for my friends hen do! We did a cocktail master class and the girl that ran it was so lovely and made sure all of us had plenty of fun with lots of laughs. All the staff were super nice and quick to clear up empties and bring over anything needed. Such good value for money too as you pay per person. It was really well organised and I’d defo recommend to anyone!

Top place to hear great Latin music and the ambience is just off the chart. :) great service and staff.

This was my first time here, I came for a gig. The music venue is nicely intimate. The downstairs bar has a great vibe and ambience. The music was great. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming. More choice of ales would be good but overall, a fantastic bar/ music venue.

I went there for food and coffee - it was very delicious and the customer service was very nice and attentive. I went there on Mondays for salsa classes upstairs - great, friendly amtosphere, very understanding for beginners like me. And I went there for a Bailando party on Thursday. I was very tired after the whole day in London, but the music, the people and drinks got me moving until 2 am. Great place for day&night, conveniently located in nice neighbourhood.

Why do bouncers feel they are above the law. They are there to do a job, not use their fists. I have seen what you have to a person who would not harm a fly. I will avoid this place.

You don't even deserve one star. and don't even get me started on the door men. Last night me and my boyfriend came to your bar and my boyfriend was brutally attacked by 3 of your power trip bouncers. He now has two black eyes, puffy face and a huge gash on the right eyebrow. We were up the hospital until 6am this morning as he had to have it glued together! This all happened out the gate of the garden. We then went back round to the front to inform then what happened and they had no interest what so ever. We were pin pointed the minute we walked through those doors. Homophobic springs to mind. It was absolutely disgusting, you should ALL be ashamed of yourself firstly for hiring such wankers! I get you have to have some authority as you're dealing with people who are drinking. But unfortunately you have some uneducated police officer rejects on your doors and they feel the need to 'jump' people for no reason. My boyfriend has never had a fight in his life and probably wouldn't know how too. So please tell me why it takes 3 dick head bouncers to not only ask us to leave (which we did, and quietly) again... we still have no understanding to why we were kicked out. I have pictures to prove the damage to his face. This isn't the first bad review you've had about your door men. In fact all of the 1 star reviews you've got are towards them. So wake up and do something about it. Disgusting place and disgusting people running it. I hope you all get your comeuppance in the future�

Lazy doormans! i went there two weeks ago and they didnt let me in because the doorman said that the pub was about to cloose but it was 12 o`clock and people was dancing and having fun inside.I checked online and the website said that closing time was at 1a.m so i guess that this lazyman was looking fordward to go home and he doesnt give a sh** about your business .If you dont care about your staff you gonna loose more clients on top of the money that you already lost that night.

I was charged a 100 pounds instead of 10 for four jagerbombs. The situation was handled by a manager in an unapologetic and unhelpful manner.



I can understand that adding another zero on the card machine on a night out is an easy mistake to make, and when I came back next morning to rectify the situation Austin and the team were very helpful. I was told I had to wait a few days for the transaction to go through before I could get my money back. Since I dont live in the area, which I made very clear, I was assured several times that this could absolutely be done over the phone without a problem. When I rang several days later, I was bluntly told by another manager that I had to be there in person to receive my refund. This meant a cost of a 15 pounds and over 3 hours travel time for Drift's mistake. Reimbursment for this travel was completely refused on more than one occasion, meaning I actually lost money trying to get some back.



Overall, it was a stressful and negative experience and I do not advise anyone to pay by card in this bar, as it will only result in unpleasantness and a waste of time and money on someone else's mistake. I visit Portsmouth a few times a year bur I will not be going to this bar again.

We asked for the staff name, the answer was: "NO, I DON'T HAVE TO FACILITY MY NAME", he just said "Paul, that's all im gonna say to you" so he is probably/obviously lying. I have been treated like rubbish with no option to speak with the manager or any other person in charge, they just declined the question and put us on the street, because they wanted to. Some of us had this kind of problem before with security staff, and we still having it.

Food was awful, just got back from ordering 2 burgers along with some sides. One of the burgers was stone cold, sent it bk to be given something I never even ordered and lacking the dressing it should of had on it. The chef came out to my table personally to give me my new burger, making a joke that the burger he was giving me was his own one. So put me off completely. The staff made.NO effort to come bk to the table to check everything was ok.

Just disappointed I've had a bad experience there as I was very hungry and looking forward to trying out there burgers. I will NOT be returning.

Embarrassing the way security staff treated us, they just pushed us away from the club with no reason, we had to leave our staff in there ( coat, scarf, . etc) and we asked to speak with the manager the answer was: NO. We asked for the staff name, the answer was: "NO, I DON'T HAVE TO FACILITY MY NAME", he just said "Paul, that's all im gonna say to you" so he is probably/obviously lying. I have been treated like rubbish with no option to speak with the manager or any other person in charge, they just declined the question and put us on the street, because they wanted to. Some of us had this kind of problem before with security staff, and we still having it.
