Last but not the least, Mallika Sen Aparna Sharma Hemangi Bhide, you deserve a special awards for dealing with backstage insanity with great patience and efficiency and still maintaining your sanity intact. Sharing the work 'Rhythm Incessant present by Drishti Youth group at National U Dance in July 2018. Here is what Sarah Kearney, Assistant Producer – Children and Young People, South East Dance has to say about us - "I thoroughly enjoyed Drishti Youth Dance’s performance as part of U.Dance 2018 national festival and the variations explored in the piece since U.Dance Lift Off Dance Festival in April. It was fantastic to see the first Kathak piece from the south east selection platform in the national festival. I loved the complexity in rhythms, dynamics and spatial patterns in Rhythm Incessant. What a beautiful performance by your dancers. Their attention to detail, expression and musicality is a pleasure to watch. Well done to the Drishti Dance artistic team and dancers for all your hard work!” https://youtu.be/wXHtxtDNcPc

VENUE - The Whitty Theatre, Luckley House School, Luckley Rd, Wokingham RG40 3EU
The evening unfolds gently, undulating rhythmically to the thrum of drum beats.... Sometimes slow, often swift, shadows swirl like poetry in motion. Eyes alight with dreams, dance on nimble feet, to the song of words unspoken, as the heart voices the ecstasy of surrender. The elated drums herald the beginning of the celebration, reminiscent of the sounds of distant thunder, and promising the shower of the elixir of life, the joy of existence. The bells echo the Incessant Rhythm of the heart – a reaffirmation of life. Fingers snap and twirl in an invitation to join in this feast of the senses - Exquisite, graceful and mesmerizing.
