I found this under a desk this week. Extension leads are not designed for large loads to be permanently connected. These are best plugged into a socket outlet. There is some great advice on the link below:

Installed some nice sunken decking lights today. These are on a switch and also a daylight sensor so they only come on when it's dark.

A recent job in New Romney. New circuits into large extension for Kitchen and Utility room, along with outside lights and new consumer unit. All lights including colour changing strip can be controlled with wireless switches to preset levels and / or adjusted with smart device. All signed off and part P compliant for the building inspector.

Something a little different today. 6 wireless alarms (fitted in holiday homes) that text the customer if the alarm is activated. @ Camber Sands Holiday Park

A little upgrade carried out this week. Was called as the electric kept tripping out. On testing found that the RCD did not function and there was no means of Earth.

Upgrade your sockets to new USB ported ones and free up those plug sockets. OCD heaven.

Colour changing LED strips under canopy and linked flood lights. All in outside rated enclosures. Controlled via switch inside and app on phone.

Phil came to our rescue when the electricity in our kitchen kept tripping. It wasn't any easy problem to solve but he stayed until he had it fixed! Very honest, professional and polite. Thanks Phil, we will for sure be using you again. :)

Just saved me from dying from touching just about anything electrical in my house. Got here early every morning, left late and did a fantastic job of fitting a consumer unit, fixing all the faults, fitting garden lights and an outdoor electrical socket at a very reasonable price. I’m well happy. Highly recommend
