There is no Christmas slowdown at Elegant Homes! Up comes the timber frame for our semis in Henley. Did anyone spot our crane on the Fairmile?

Phase 2 of our project in the Fairmile, Henley gets underway. With the help of machinery from Spt Southern-Plant, Twain and his team complete the foundations of our 2 new houses which will be ready next summer.

Our 5-bedroom houses in Northcourt Avenue, Reading are progressing well. They will be available to buy in February 2019. Here is a sneak peak at what they look like...

And on to the next site . We have just bought 45 Albert Rd and will soon be submitting a planning application for a 5 bedroom house . So if you want a brand new energy efficient Elegant home in one of the finest roads in Caversham Heights get in touch . It’s pretty handy for the bus as well . Very sustainable

We have completed our "Victorian" terrace and workshop conversion in Shaftesbury Road and will soon be handing over to the lucky people at Homes for Reading, who have bought all 4 houses.

We are proud to support local community groups who make a real difference. Peter is handing over a cheque to Richard Denney of Caversham GLOBE (Go Local On a Better Environment).
GLOBE work to improve and protect green spaces for the benefit of wildlife and local residents. Their recent work includes repairing the timber street planters in central Caversham as well as graffiti removal and litter picking.

Our latest job interview didn't go according to plan, as candidate Dexter Merrick lied about his age on his application form. He knew his stuff on HSE though!

This is our Operations Director Nick, fitting the roof of a bay window at our site in Shaftesbury Road. Normally based in the office, Nick loves to get on the tools every now and again on site!

This is our site manager Twain showing off the recently built wall to the rear of our new properties at Shaftesbury Road. He is very happy with the finished product and we hope the neighbours will be too!

We complete on the sale of Orchard House, Henley next week, a bargain at £1.8m, plus the buyers get the greenest lawn in the Thames Valley!

We took some time out this week with our wonderful friends at Southern Plant to help move some pontoons from Henley Rowing club to ISIS Waterski Club . These will be used to promote water sports to juniors .

Ever wondered what the inner frame of a building looks like? The boys at Glosford Timber Solutions have spent the last 3 weeks installing the SIPs on our site in Shaftesbury Road which form the integral structure of the buildings!

Our houses are built on good foundations. These piles at Northcourt Avenue are 9 metres deep! Marek is now constructing the ringbeams that will join them all together

We have just erected the site hoarding at our development in Northcourt Avenue, Reading. It showcases our new marketing campaign: The Evolved House. Available in November, both of the new detached properties will be remarkably energy efficient, designed for harmonious living and have outstanding views!

We are just finishing our development at Morriston, Fairmile, Henley-on-Thames, which we plan to launch next month. A spacious 5 bedroom house which sits in a half acre plot and is only short walk from Henley town centre!

The boys at Elegant Homes had their annual karting challenge on Wednesday. This year champion is new boy John !!!

We have just finished our second demolition in the space of three weeks! Work is about to start in Northcourt Avenue, Reading on two spacious 5-bedroom houses with garages. Just a stones throw from the university, they also enjoy stunning views across Reading. We hope to have them finished by the end of this year!

We have almost finished the complete renovation of 12A Shaftesbury Road. It has been transformed from an old metal workshop into a modern, two-bedroom house! Phase 2 of the project has now started next door. Four Victorian style 3-bedroom terrace houses available with Help to Buy in September 2018.
