Meet the Rubbish Monster Thing at Elson Library Mini-Chatterbooks group on Tuesday 4th Dec between 3:30 and 4:30. We will make our own Rubbish Monster Thing and discover how he gets bigger on other people’s rubbish in Simon Chadwick’s book for children

Hi everyone, come and see the beautiful and touching remembrance work by Elson Infant School, we have the pleasure of displaying it at the library. We reopen on Monday 3 December and look forward to welcoming you all.

The Brownies came to Elson Library to learn about The Suffragettes and do their badge , we all had a great time .

Halloween fun had by all !

Please come and see our art group's wonderful paintings for the Community Poppy Display marking the 100th anniversary of the First World War. We are a bit early but we are closing for an exciting new look library on 12 November. Re-opening on Monday 3 December so will miss the event.

🎉Exciting News!🎉 We are thrilled that Elson Library has been selected for a mini-refurbishment to further improve the service we provide for our customers. This will include new layout of our self service facilities! The building will be closed and work will take place from 12th November - 2nd December 2018. We will look forward to welcoming our customers back to the new look branch on 3rd December and will provide updates of work taking place, during the closure.

Our first Mini Chatterbooks for 4-7 year olds. We read some great stories and chatted about autumn and caring for wildlife where we live. Nine children made a family of badgers to live in our underground sett at Elson library.

New mini Chatterbooks Group for 4-7 Year olds starting at Elson Library on 2nd October (and then on 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month) from 3:30 to 4:30pm. Please do join us to chatter about books and take part in our fun craft activities.

Went to the Easter craft morning with my granddaughter, it was brilliant we loved it.

Very friendly local Library. You can borrow the latest magazines, books, music, DVDs etc. the kids can join in with The Summer Reading Challenge too. It's a fun place to go x

The best library in Gosport! All the ladies are lovely and helpful and friendly - even when they are doubtless having a stressful day, there is always a smile and a "hello". Loads to do and ordering books that you have seen and want to read is easy. I'd be lost if we didn't have "our" library! Thank you x

Love this place - a great local library with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them :) Good range of local groups meeting here too. My little one loves the Friday afternoon Storytime sessions.
