I'm looking for help from the community of Maidenhead!



I am looking to do a course with the SMAE Institute; most of the course I can do from the comfort of my own home, in my own time. However, for the last part of my studying, I will need to do 2 weeks of practical (Clinical) training on campus.



The problem is, they don't have halls of residence so I can't stay on site. Maidenhead is too far away from where I live (about 3 hours away) for me to travel there and back daily. I don't have any friends or family living in Maidenhead, either.



I've never been to Maidenhead, and have no idea about the area. Could any of you lovely residents tell me if there are any local youth hostels or cheap hotels? I will be putting a lot of money into my studies, and I am trying to keep my costs down with everything else!



Thanks in advance, and hope to meet some of you lovely locals, and see what looks like such a lovely place, in the near future!
