Epsom Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Epsom is about community, charity, fun and friendship and is open to men and women aged 30 + . We are one of 100 clubs in District 1145.

Each year the club is involved in a range of local community events. The club organises the annual Epsom and Ewell Borough Family Fun Day with the Rotary Club of Ewell. There are gardening sessions at Old Moat Garden Centre and St Ebba’s Hospital Wildlife Garden throughout the year. The club also runs the local Young Musician, Young Photographer, Young Chef and French Speaking competitions annually. This year we also helped to marshal the Sport Relief Mile at Nonsuch Park and in previous years we have marshalled the Cancer Research UK Race for Life event at Epsom Downs Racecourse. And of course there are the annual Christmas collections around Epsom.

The club has a varied social calendar with recent events including bowling, crazy golf, supper club in local high end restaurants, a trip to Walmer Castle, a West End theatre trip and a barbeque. We also have the opportunity to compete against other local Rotary clubs in the district sports competitions. This year we are competing in badminton, snooker, bowling, pool and quizzing.

This year we are fundraising for small, local charities. Charity events in the past have included a fashion show and quiz nights.
