Epsom Downs Racecourse hosts one of the greatest sporting and social events in the world – The Investec Derby Festival. Quintessentially English; undeniably traditional; always exciting; never predictable a perfect backdrop to introduce you to the Silks™ Pavilion, now in our second year the silks is exclusively designed with you in mind, offering exceptional value, and for your guests a Derby Festival to remember, it is the day where Ladies take center stage both on and off the course, and a great opportunity to entertain on a more relaxed day.
The Oaks Ladies Day, starts the Festival on Friday 5th June, a wonderfully stylish day out, Ladies Day is a place to dress up in your best, and to see the world’s finest fillies competing in the feature race The Investec Oaks.
The Investec Derby, run on the Saturday 6th June, is the showpiece of the festival and again headlines a great day of world class racing, it remains the one race that all jockeys and trainers want to win.
The Silks Pavilion, is situated within the world renowned Upper Tattenham Enclosure, positioned alongside the final furlongs of the home straight, a pivotal point of the course and where a race is often won or lost. With excellent views from the pavilion's private terrace, and overlooking the home straight, you and your guests will experience racing's unique sights and sounds at close quarters as horses and jockeys are pushed to their limit sweeping down and around the challenging world famous tattenham corner and the home straight to approach the final furlong. Derby Day is a great day out and always has a special atmosphere.
Hosting up to 300 guests per day, hence you and your guests can be guaranteed exclusivity, the Silks™ Pavilion has its own dedicated Tote betting service; live race coverage on numerous screens set within the marquee, and once the racing is over just sit back and enjoy our live music entertainment until late. You and your guests will enjoy a glorious day being wined, dined, and entertained within our exclusive and unique Silks™ Hospitality Marquee, all delivered by our friendly and experienced silks team, always producing and delivering the highest of standard’s in event catering.
