Our official mascot Gizmo is so dedicated to Escape Plan LIVE that she was still working at 2am on a new concept ‘escape the bag’ which proved to be more difficult than she anticipated!

“What the Dickens”

This is our 4th time booking a game here ! This time we chose to do “ What the Dickens ?” ! By far it was our favourite room to do ! The quality of the room was brilliant, really authentic for the time period ! The staff are lovely and friendly nothing was too much trouble ! Would definitely recommend ! From start to finish it was a brilliant evening !

What the dickens, brilliant new game! It’s our fourth time coming and our favourite game! Would highly recommend doing this as your first or if you’ve done it before!

Staff are so welcoming and lovely always supporting us during the games!

What the Dickens? 4th time coming with my friends and found this to be our favourite. A game with authentic features and so much fun, would highly recommend coming to do this! All of the staff who work at Escape Plan Live are lovely and full of encouragement, making the experience worth the wait whilst making this room.

What a fantastic way to spend time with family and friends. We did the Witching Hour, our first Escape Plan experience, it was an amazing set up and a bit scary, but boy did it get you using "the little grey cells" - unfortunately we got eaten by the witch, but not for lack of timely advice from our helper, poor chap, he tried so hard to help us!!! Would definitely recommend and we will be coming back to try the other rooms and those at Fort Amherst

Went to Escape Plan Live before they moved venues. They were absolutely amazing and a night I will never forget. Sorry for breaking the game as well but it did give us a laugh! The puzzles were great and got us all thinking. We didn’t escape in time but as Ross saw we were moments away he let us continue until we escaped! It was a great to spend time in a different way with Medway Rangers before we closed. Thank you so much for an amazing evening!!

We were 4 adults 3 teenagers and an 8 yr old, we came as a present for our 13yr olds birthday, we did murder at the pier. Our very first time at an escape room.

Absolutely loved it, was fun and really got us all thinking, the teenagers were the best at it and definitely glad for the help from the staff a few times �

A little difficult for our 8 yr old, and he was a bit upset he couldn’t solve anything, but he helped by “opening things”.

Definitely recommend if scary worries you, as it’s not scary and it’s just the right amount of hard to make you use your brain.

Will come again for the scarier ones!

We have never done an escape room before and we are glad we did this one!

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The Host explained everything to us and ensured we knew what to except or do. It was great fun and we managed to escape in just over 40 minuets from the seance! Would throughly recommend this to anyone looking for something different & fun to do.

We have just done murder at the pier, 2 adults and 2 children aged 9 and 14. We all loved it. It was our first experience doing this and will be back with my daughter and her friends for her birthday to do "what the dickens". The staff were really helpful and friendly. Thank God for the clues as we wouldn't have solved it without them. I will definitely be recommending this to friends and family. Thank you very much. Jo, Carl, Nicole and Isabel.

We had the most hilarious time! Will be back for sure! Smashed it with time to spare and a rave up ! Would like to see the cctv from the rave . Honestly would recommend this to anyone was awesome thank u !

We did the Dickens escape room. We've done a couple of escape rooms in Kent and London but I have to say this was one of the best I've seen. Really well done looks amazing.



Don't be put off if your not a Dickens enthusiast or even have never read his books, its the atmosphere that's cool. Highly recommended!

My first experience in a escape room & I loved it! We did Murder at the pier, which is superbly put together. Highly recommend! It has a 50% completion rate so give it a go if you think your good enough! For the record we did it!

Just completed our third room with escape plan live and loved every single one.



Murder at the pier was our first and would highly recommend this room to a small team. We done it as a four and seemed to be the magic number. The room was very linear and had a really good flow to it. My favourite feature was the use of the environment (play it and you'll see what I mean)



The orphanage we done last week and this is a strange one. As it's in fort amherst there are restrictions as to how they can use the space being a listed building and only being rented every Saturday however it was executed very very well and the room suits the theme amazingly well.



The witching hour we have just completed as a four but I could quite easily see how it could host 12 people. The room is almost like a room filled with multiple strands that all come together to finish off the final pieces which leaves no member of a team clock watching. The feel of the room also suits the theme well and is definately worth a play.



We will most definately be back to complete more rooms having done 35+ rooms now and all three being very very different to one another let alone other companies it is definately a place I would recommend and the members of staff are all very friendly and passionate which makes it even better!



Essay over!

It's not just about trying to escape from the scenario that you are plunged into but also you get to spend time escaping from the stress and worries of life, it really is that great an event.



Thinking outside of the box, interacting with others and looking at things from a whole new perspective. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole thing, thank you for such an interesting time.

I recently played the newest game at escape plan, and I have to say it was a great team building experience.

As we were a big team, we could gather clues quite quickly.

I would definitely recommend coming, and I would come again.

I had a really fantastic time in the Escape Plan in Sun Pier House, the story was perfectly orchestrated and it was great fun trying to find the clues and piece together what everything all means.



This is not something you can complete in 10 minutes, you have to really think about the clues and the story and work as a team to get through each stage. The excitement was definitely added by the clock ticking away behind us!



The set and sound effects really do set the feel and add the tension, which ups the excitement and gets you into the zone.



Overall we had a fantastic time, and was really chuffed that we finished with 1 minute to spare! A great day, I highly recommend.

Great place to go with a group of family/friends. Loads of fun working together as a team to solve the murder, this one ‘What the Dicken’s’ with it’s dim lighting was very atmospheric and felt like you had stepped back in time. Staff very welcoming with a great sense of humour!! Would definitely recommend a visit and look forward to returning

Great fun and the sets are really atmospheric. We went as a team but you could do this as a couple or even on your own for a diversion in the working day! Highly recommended.

Booked ‘Murder at the Pier’ for my sons’ 11th birthday with 7 friends (and my husband). They all said it was fantastic. Would highly recommend and will be going back as a family as I want a go....!!

This was my first experience of an escape room. The scenery and plot were very realistic and I enjoyed having to think in different ways to solve the clues. I can see how this would be a great team building exercise and I will be back to try another challenge.
