We have rented a car here a few times now, this year the service was great, we got a larger car than we were expecting and had absolutely no problems. The pick up and return were simple and they didn't try to charge more than the quote which has been our experience with other companies. We'll definitely keep using them whenever we return to the UK.

Hired a car from Europcar, must say these guys where professional from start to us leaving the car back, I'd certainly recommend this company and should I ever need a car again these guys would be my first choice, and the car we got was a brand new car, you simply couldn't ask for better service, you step outside the airport to the courtesy bus which leaves you right to there door and you get the same service when you return, not forgetting the staff they were super and well worth the ☆☆☆☆☆s

Europcar are my first choice for airport car hire. Efficient, great customer service and well-presented cars. I really enjoy hiring the small Fiat 500's as they are fun to drive are very economical.

While the service at pick up and drop off locations were nice and helpful, after 2 weeks I am still waiting for a refund (brought the car in a few days early)

I rented a car at Luton airport at 02.30 on 29 th sept. whilst I signed paperwork, I was asked for my credit card to block 300 euros. Which was for the car and the full tank of petrol, it would be returned in full to my account when I returned the car. I was never given a receipt for this, which I realised the following morning. Once I returned the car, and everything proclaimed in perfect order. I signed "something"on a tpv. Now they have taken 70.44 euros out of my account for an out of hours charge, that had never been mentioned anywhere no even on the car hire document.

This is not a good way to treat customers. I would not recomend them, as this is fraud.

Easy by free transfer bus from airport. When we arrived had to wait 30 mins for prebooked hire, which was disappointing. Price and vehicle were really good.

We rented a car from Europcar and after 5 miles the clutch burnt out. We were left stranded by the side of the road for more than 3 hours waiting for the company to do something to help us. Twice, actually, reps from the company came to our location and inspected the car. Instead of doing anything to help, they told us that we had to just wait. Be aware that they do not appear to value their customers. Then, after we finally got towed back, they asked me to go back out to look for the towing man so that they could talk to him. So I get a bad car and I have to wait for 3+ hours then the clerk tells me to run around the parking lot looking instead. Of getting up and doing it himself. Way to be customer-centered @Europcar.

Wat een gedoe. Je bestelt een huurauto met automaat een maand van tevoren. En aan de balie vertellen ze je doodleuk dat die er niet is.

Bellen bellen bellen, maar een automaat is 6 uur! wachten. Waardeloos!!!! Nooit meer.

I don't recommend renting a car from Eurocar. I rented my car through the Rentalcar website from Luton Airport. When I arrived to take it, I was in a rush and I signed a contract without reading it through carefully, because if there were any other chargers, I was always informed. I trusted the Eurocar staff, so I had to pay £250 in extra cost for various additional insurance which I didn't even order. When I was renting the car, I already bought the full insurance.

Have turned up at Luton airport to find your office closed despite having my flight number and the flight not being delayed. Annoyed to say the least. Poor company do not use from Luton Airport

En fait, Europcar Luton essaie de nous faire payer un dommage (gros trou dans un pneu) alors qu'il était déjà porté sur le constat à la prise du véhicule.

Attention à bien faire les états des lieux avec eux : ils sont désinvoltes et rigolards à l'arrivée mais tentent de vous faire payer 3 jours après une fois rentrés chez vous alors que vous n'êtes plus là pour vous justifier....

Eigenlijk verdienen ze die ene ster nog niet! Wat een oplichters, ze beloven je borg terug te storten maar bij thuis komst word er 211 euro afgeschreven!! Bij navraag zeggen ze dat je een grotere auto wou.. bij het tekenen en ophalen van de auto zijn ze erg vriendelijk, maar ze vertellen je het een en laten je iets anders ondertekenen, het zijn echt OPLICHTERS!

Collected the car....tank was only half full (itself shocking and unacceptable). Fortunately I noticed it, reported it and it was noted on my papers before I left. When I returned the car to Luton Airport I put in well over the amount of petrol I started out with....and the girl at the desk also guaranteed me 500% that I would not be charged as it wasn't quite a full tank... I even joked that they should be paying me! ....and guess what ...that same day 65 quid was taken off my card as the tank was not full ! (I waited almost one hour phoning from abroad before someone actually confirmed this had happened). Not only will I never ever use Europcar again, I will make it a mission to stop others from doing this too... What happened is a crime and each act has been deliberately performed in the hope that I wouldn't notice. How many people would have done ? Europcar Luton Airport you are an utter disgrace.

Arrived and made to wait over 50 minutes as they had no cars ready for rental. This despite booking a week in advance.
