The crew attended this 2 vehicle road traffic collision this afternoon.
We were delighted to help display this amazing poppy tribute created by Eynsham’s women’s institute in the square this morning. All these poppies have been individually knitted and sewn on by members. A magnificent and stunningly visual way to remember our fallen.
Interested in becoming an On-Call Firefighter? Come down and have an informal chat with us at Eynsham Station any Tuesday evening between 19:00 and 21:00.
We were first in attendance at this make pumps 4 barn fire near South Leigh yesterday supported by colleagues from Witney and Bampton. On arrival 50-60 bales of straw were found to be well alight. Because of the crews swift actions and with mechanical assistance from the farmer we were able to prevent the fire spreading to additional farm out buildings. Fortunately no one was hurt and the fire was brought under control.
Four tired firefighters after all completed the 13.1 miles of the #OxfordHalf marathon. Thank you to everyone along the route for your amazing support and we have never been offered so many Jelly Babies. Much appreciated.
Here are 4 of our crew at the start this years @OxfordHalf Marathon. Best of luck (L-R) FF’s Keep, Bragg, Ridler & Jacob.

We are proud to announce that our Tribute to our Heroes poppy video has now been viewed over 10 Million times!!
It is being shared from other sites as well as our own now so if you would like to share and see the original, here it is! Lest we Forget.
We are really proud to see our mannequin video is still being shared around Facebook nearly two years on. Best viewed with sound on.
Massive congratulations to our latest Firefighter Olga Patterson. Olga successfully completed her Initial course today and will soon be joining the crew at emergency incidents. We are all really proud of her and are looking forward to working alongside her.
On Tuesday we were very proud to be able to show our appreciation to some of our primary employers, who allow us to respond to fire calls, at a presentation ceremony with our Assistant Chief Fire Officer Grahame Mitchell. Without the support of such employers, every single Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service (Official) On call station, would be unable to operate. Shown here are some of the Eynsham Firefighters primary employers Siemens Healthineers, Siemens Magnet Technology, Evenlode DIY, and Oxford Products. Sadly SST Technology were unable to attend but we have ensured their award is now with them. Thank you again from all the Eynsham Crew.

G-d bless and protect you brave people!
Respect to these firemen for there Tribute to our Heroes.
And there own bravery in fighting fire and rescues they do
One word could describe all you men and women AMAZING, and I don’t need to say “keep up the good work “ because you always do xx
Like all fire fighters nationwide they do an excellent job and often have to put their own feelings, fears, and life risks to one side to do their job . I have family in the Fire Services and so I know only to well what is involved. Well done all ! x
It was very nice, and an absolute pleasure to be invited to the unveiling of the Roll of Honour at the Eynsham Fire Station.
I think the job you do which is to save lives and rescue people and save property but also help during car accidents well It takes a very special person . I was in a house fire when I was 5/6 and ended up running to the neighbours with my dog wearing a nightdress and my feet were bare ,It was Winter and cold ,A fireman came and when he went to pick me up I said *I can walk * and he just scooped me up and took me to the ambulance and he smiled and Ive never felt so safe ,This tribute is AMAZING and Everybody involved in the Fire Service will always have my respect and admiration !!
I have great respect for all fire fighters. They put their lives on the line selflessly to help others. They deserve respect and recognition for all they do.
I can rightly say this is one of the best tributes I've seen respect to all the lads and lassies at your station well done.
Going above and beyond the call of duty. Well done everyone, so proud of you all. xx
Full respect for the Fire Service. Stay Safe, Never give up. The people need you. Our Heroes.
Firemen the world over do a fantastic job. Well done to each and every one of you.
Fire fighters world wide are true unsung heroes, your remembrance day tribute says it all
