Fantasy Furniture Decoration

Well it has been a long time since I have posted on here, this is due to suffering from a very serious illness called shabby chic syndrome, it is when all you see is shabby chic everywhere and not much else. I have now recovered and feel that i am fit enough to venture back out into society, so keep your eyes peeled I will get some more goods painted soon.

well its time to get rid of some of my stock as I am rapidly running out of room, and I would like to start on some new projects. also I will be starting a new line in mosaics so watch this space

Vintage industrial shabby chic metal wall unit, comes with real original rust, there is no working lock but this could be fixed easily £40 ono

Shabby country style pine desk has good wear and look to it £50

One vintage 1930s travel case/trunk hand finished with a copper trim £60 ono

This was an old Winchester style air rifle that had been left to rust, so it was taken in and re-finished and the plastic stock and metal fore grip where given a new look with some graining.

Another old concrete statue that was given a bit of a transformation from stone to wood. So we have a wood pigeon lol

A child's table with blackboard paint infill and pencil legs. £15

This is the Lapis Lazuli top of a folding table that I have just finished. It starts out life as a wooden table top and then was given some fantasy decoration. £15

this is a mini concrete statue that I was allowed to play with, in the last pic you will see a piece of real green stone that I based my effect on. Sold

This is a solid wooden tray from Ikea that has been painted in reds and black and with a sprinkle of gold dust to give it depth, it has then received an gloss finish. The rims of the tray have been gilded with Dutch metal, the pictures don't really do it justice. £20

It seems like it has been ages since I have posted anything on this page, however I have still been hard at work. I apologise for the quality of the photos in advance, but here are my latest pieces.

So these are the next projects nearing completion, the wooden tray is just waiting to be gilded and the rifle is waiting to be grained and made lovely. and the childs table is waiting for its last coat of black board paint, I am showing the underside of the table in this pick lol, but will get one off the top soon.

well I have finally finished the childs pencil leg table with chalk board and am nearly there with the Japanese negoro nuri tray 28 coats down only another 12 or so to go lol, pics to follow.
