Feminine Touch

Nearly the end of a busy week for me. Finished this one today - here are some before and after pics. Complete freshen up with Farrow and Ball colours mixed to Valspar specs. ❤

Seven days of hard graft and what a finish was a achieved! Former dark grey yellow and blue walls in this lounge and dining room now in slipper satin and dix blue. Totally transformed this room and got to spend time with the customers beautiful baby girl. Love working at this home ❤

I've really enjoyed this job this week. A complete refresh - Willow Green and soft cream on opposite walls, fresh satinwood on the door frames plus cedar wood oil on staircase and skirting boards. Have a look at the before and after photos below - happy customer = happy decorator

Before and after pics of last week's job. The hallway was pretty worn out in this busy family home but nice and fresh now. Dado rail back in place with a fresh coat of satinwood on all the woodwork, relined the walls with several coats of Dulux Mocha in a Matt finish. What a difference after days of hard graft!

Really enjoyed this job! Four days of stripping walls and wood work to repaint in white satinwood, walls in Dulux grey after being relined with walrock fibre liner. Looks so much brighter and fresher all in one colour with clean white lines to finish.

Good job I love my job as this week has been a bit of a killer! Started by taking off the top layer of paper to then find a real bodge job underneath! Multiple layers of paper and paint, plaster breaking off and crumbling. Cue me to come along and make it all better - lightly skimmed the walls, relined with Walrock which covers a multitude of sins then repainted all the walls and woodwork Matt white and satin wood. Very happy customers indeed!

It's been a hard week this week. Five layers of paper to get off, steamer decided to die halfway through! Finally got it all off. Dulux mixed into Valspar, lovely pale blue and bright white satinwood to finish off. Very pleased with the final results. A few before and after pics below xx

Before and after pics of this week's job working with the lovely Becky and Jamie. These two are just the kindest people and their specification this time was to make the hallway lighter. So I removed the old handrail and replaced it with a wood and steel one. Then off with the dated wallpaper. Luckily only a limited amount of sanding and filling needed and a couple of coats of white emulsion. The end result is really good! Happy customers and a Happy decorator! Thanks my lovelies for letting me work on your home again X

This lady "Claire" has no end to her talents, she is always willing to fit you in when ever she is free, Her electrician skills are second to none but her Feminine touch painting and decorating is also perfection.
