Finchampstead Netball Club Description
Training for adult members takes place on Monday evenings 8-9: 30pm from September to July at Finchampstead Sports & Social club.
Training for junior members is on Wednesdays from 6pm (see Junior Section of website for exact times).
Facilities - We have two full-sized outside courts with floodlights and changing rooms which have their own showers. Club members are also entitled, and encouraged to use the Social Club – also at The Memorial Ground.
What we do - The Senior section has 5 teams in the Bracknell & District Netball League, playing on Saturday mornings at Brackenhale School in Bracknell and 2 teams playing in the Charters SSS League on Thursday & Monday evenings at Charters School in Ascot. We also enter teams into the friendly summer leagues at the same locations.
Team selection takes place each May, in preparation for the start of the league in September. New members who join the club after May are assessed on an individual basis and will be placed in a suitable team if there is space.
We have a number of qualified umpires and coaches and are always looking to encourage more and support them through their training and qualification.
We are affiliated to England Netball.
