Last week we were busy visiting trade stands looking for Smart Intuitive brands that can help us help our clients. THROW BACK FRIDAY! This, our first projector and screen install, put in approximately 15 years ago. It's had the odd upgrade in that time but the speakers, screen and a few other bits are all original. Even though it may not look as impressive as later projects, after all this time it's still going strong. Amazing to think when the client started using it the kids were 5 and now they are at university! Just giving it the once over, checking everything is ok... Found StarWars in the Blu-ray so here you go...

Yesterday, we worked a 13 hour shift. Starting at 9am and finishing at 10pm so as to minimise disruption to the client! 👊 A previous AV/IT company installed this centralised entertainment system 4 years ago but failed to finnish it to a standard where it would be reliable and serviceable. In the first 3 pictures you can see how everything was left on shelves (note the Sky receiver stacked on top of the £1400 CYP HDMI Switcher!) NOT GOOD🥵 Work your way to the last pictures and you'll see how we left it 😎

In a perfect world everything would only take a day to achieve. Planning for this 65" TV & Soundbar install started back in late 2018. We began by listening to the clients vision, discussing the possibilities and finally some window shopping with the client to see and hear different products. 3 months on and we're nearing the end of the project. All that remains is the floor and furniture so that we can balance the sound for that perfect acoustic experience. Equipment Used: -... Since the beginning of December it's been pretty busy at FINITA with new and ongoing projects, which is why we have been a bit quiet on our Facebook page. We're going to fix that starting now with a belated Happy New Year. Keeping coming back for updates and to see the exciting new Smart Home and AV products in 2019!!!

JUST FINISHED! BXF Shop fit in Romford, in time for Monday opening day. FINITA advised, supplied and installed Wi-Fi, telephony, Internet and computers

CHOOSING THE RIGHT MATERIALS IS AS IMPORTANT AS CHOOSING THE RIGHT PRODUCTS!!! About 30% of our business comes from fixing/inheriting other AV/SMART HOME installations. One such system that we have recently taken over needs some serious TLC before we can even think about finding and rectifying faults. Below is an example of just one cable we took out of the AV rack (pictured right, top and bottom) and replaced with a cable of the correct length and type (pictured left, top and bottom). This install is coming along nicely! Should be finished soon... Multi zone music & radio include outdoor speakers, outdoor wi-fi, a beautiful SONY OLED 65" TV connected to SkyQ adn Blu-ray hidden in a rack cupboard. Some finishing touches. NO ONE LIKES A CABLE SNAKING DOWN THE WALL! Behind this brush plate is a conduit designed specifically for audio visual. It let's you add and remove cables between your TV and game console or Bluray player. If technology changes its easy to change the cable to suit ;)

Back on site! This self contained apartment extension in Chesham is just 10 days from completion. While it's messy FINITA has come to fit the ceiling speakers. More from this project next week when we'll be fitting the TV, WiFi and music system... Exciting :) (y)
